Hands down the best fried chicken I have ever had! The breading is perfectly spiced and the chicken is juicy and not dried out. The shrimp appetizer was a bit disappointing, since it had only 3 pieces. Service needs to be more attentive, especially given that they add 20% gratuity on all orders irrespective of party size. Plenty of parking.
Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, It reminded me of when, we travel south. The food was good and the company was superb.
Love these moments of surprised breakfast.
The chicken and carrot cake waffles were delicious.
Also orders fried pickles, which was thoroughly enjoyed.
The other part was the day was the fried cod fish nugget which to me was absolutely scrumptious.

This is a wonderful local restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. The smell of good food permeates the air. The food was very good. The meals are southern style and cooked even better than at home. Yes, I said that! I had the chicken and waffles. It was a buttermilk waffle, and I had three chicken legs with it. The waffle had a great flavor and was not too sweet. I appreciate that they offered real butter on the table, not margarine. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well. Perfectly cooked on the inside. I wish I had enough room to also eat some grits, but it would have been impossible. I am not local to NJ and traveling for work. I went to 4 Brothers Breakfast because of the pictures of their food and their menu. I was not at all disappointed and would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who likes great food.
Went on a cute brunch date to the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious fish was hot and crispy and my grits was already very well seasoned. The service was so pleasant and professional. The music being played was good tunes so me and my date slow danced as we waited for our food lol. All in all 10/10 highly recommend and I WILL be making my way back there
I've been trying to get to 4 brothers since covid..and I gotta say I was not wowwwed with the food . We had to send the food back multiple times for it to still come back out incorrectly. Cat fish had slime in the middle grits on plate were good but they fooled me with the portion size . The best thing was the fried pickles .
This was my first time here and I will definitely be back! The food was absolutely terrific!!! My longtime friend took me here for brunch. He said the food was good, and he was right. The prices are very reasonable and there was live music as well. Its small and intimate.
The only thing I didn't like was the service. We had a reservation and was seated on time, but no one came to our table!!! We waited for awhile and then asked a server what was the hold up? The server then apologized and took our order.
Went there for brunch after a coworker recommended it. The food was delicious southern style comfort food! The bayou shrimp and grits was the best I’ve ever had. The grits were creamy and cheesy and the seasoning on the shrimp was so flavorful. The biscuits are so soft and tasty. I also ordered chicken and waffles. The waffle is so good you can eat it without any syrup. They offer different flavored waffles as well. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and freshly cooked. They have homemade ice teas that looked good! Although they don’t serve liquor, it’s BYOB so I brought my own bottle of champagne to make mimosas. The staff is friendly and service is quick.
The only bad thing is the restaurant is very tiny! You must make a reservation in order to even get a table. I saw them turn a couple away today just for not having a reservation. They only have 7 tables in the establishment. I heard they are expanding though, and adding a larger area to the restaurant. They definitely should because business is only going to grow ☺️
This place was the best stop from our mini trip. The pricing is excellent for the portion sizes. The staff is very nice. The food was delicious. Deffinately will go again. The only downside was the drinks. It was very sweet no matter how much extra water I added.
