Best WLM Reviews
Well, this must be a bad month for me. My husband had Visiting nurse tell him about the 3rd Ave., Pizza that they’ve eaten there before order pizza to go and they said everything is always been good so my husband said OK let’s go try it.
So was we put her order in a little more than 15 minutes later the waitress comes back somehow the order ticket just disappeared so we have to put the order in a second time so we both got a rice tea. We did ask my husband Did for some extra ice on the side I guess the teas were warm and melted the ice right up. We did ask three times took 15 minutes and then it finally we got the ice after three reminders
My husband ordered the small Margarita pie without sauce, cause he liked it like a white pie with mozzarella tomato basil and added garlic so when he received his pie, it looked good. He said he the Crust had a very good flavor. He would’ve loved if they put more basil on because you could see the tiny little green pieces very skimpy and same with the garlic, but if they would’ve added extra fresh garlic basil on top so you can taste it all in all he said it was pretty.
Unfortunately, mine was a bomb
The salad was good. Had a lot of little things in it between olives and tomatoes and cucumber and red onion. It was very good thank God I had something in my stomach.
So I ordered the chicken Franchise so you could see I had two small pieces of chicken was very tender very bland. The sauce reminded me almost like a very thinned out thickened rue with a little bit of lemon. It was definitely lacking the lemon flavor in it to make it the franchise. So the sauce was very bland, lacking the lemon then the pasta which was fettuccine was an al dente. It was uncooked and you can see the picture. The two tone colors in the pasta. It was very hard. I had my husband tried it. He said yes it’s uncooked so I ate two pieces of chicken and I said that’s it, the waitress when she finally got over to us I told her we’re ready to leave. If you can bring a box my husband will take the rest of his pizza home. My husband can touch it up with putting fresh garlic on it some basil from our garden on it when he reheats it up for another day to eat There I told her send the pasta back to the cook. He did a poor job you don’t serve uncooked pasta can take a piece out and taste and he would’ve known it out the uncooked and just before we were leaving we were paying the bill. The waitress came out with four garlic knots but they don’t look like garlic knots they look like garlic rolls and Cy commented. Oh I brought you fresh ones. I didn’t want to bring the burnt ones so unfortunately this restaurant thumbs down for me.
In short I’d just describe this place as incompetent but mildly endearing. -
Drinks and salads came out warm even though the beverages were iced.
Stayed warm too… Caesar had no crunch at all, just green soft romaine for an extra buck fifty each. I think they didn’t wind up charging us, we didn’t eat them but I can’t recall.
They couldn’t bother to let us know they were out of angel hair till we were ready to order. Then I placed an order for veal just to have them come back 5/10 minutes saying they had none. The real ringer for me was them letting us order garlic knots then bringing out a basket of bread that was essentially garlic knots. Like why the heck wouldn’t you preface with “oh yeah dinners served with bread maybe skip those. All the pasta was overcooked, soft n’ squishy no bite at all. Surprisingly the shrimp were cooked perfectly, badder didn’t stick but that’s really whatever I guess. My wife made mention that the sauce was bunk and was ultimately pretty annoyed. I think everything was a little pricey too but that’s just me.
Tipped server 25% and wish yall the best✌????
This isn’t even getting into the decor or the questions with their name.
They have a great spot but need to hone in on what it is they’re gunning for.
Now that Aldo is the owner and chef, everything is homemade and delicious. Their tastng menu/dinner on Saturdays is a must for anyone looking for a creative, delicious, awesome company, meal.
Delicious fresh baked bread for sandwiches. We tried the chicken parm and the 3rd Avenue Eggplant sandwich. It was tasty. Nice music and very kind owner and service.
The restaurant has a new owner.
They have only been there a few weeks.
There are little things that need to be improved to make this place shine bright.
It's just like the old place. Nothing really has changed decor wise.
The napkins they use to wrap the silverware are like one-ply toilet paper.
If you use real cloth napkins that would be better.
If cost is a thing, buy them yourself and wash them at home
The menu prices deem better quality napkins.
The pasta with broccoli needs fresh broccoli. Please be aware that you're throwing in big pieces of sliced stems in the dish. This should not be served in this dish.
Make veggie stock, throw it out or use it to feed to the employees, just not to the paying customers.
The red sauce for the calamari was excellent.
The pizza they served had a very good crispy crust
The tomatoes on the arugula salad were very mealy. Please use better quality tomatoes. Try them before serving them and you'll notice it's a very mushy texture and should not be served.
The men's room has a funky smell and needs to be checked out. Stronger sir freshener or a deep cleaning my help.
The service was friendly and helpful.
Hopefully the new owner will make some changes to improve the overall appearance of the restaurant. Time will tell.
Not The same third Avenue. Food is terrible. I ordered lasagna. It’s a plate of mess made with sour cream. There is no meat never seen anything like it. I’m Italian been eating this food for 40+ years. ordered chicken franchise they use peas instead of capers no lemon in it.
We decided to try after hearing a few good things and it being so close to where we live. We usually get pizza in Stuart but sometimes that’s a little far. Got a few things tonight but were extremely disappointed by the antipasta salad. We order one every time we get pizza so that’s a must for us. At first it looked like there was no meat, but they place it all on the bottom. That would have been fine if it wasn’t soaked in a layer of water. And it wasn’t even the vinegar mix from the veggies. The cheese was nasty and it just ruined the salad. Not worth the $16 wasted. The pizza and garlic knots were just okay. Both very lightly cooked. Probably won’t be back, but for the sake of your other customers please think about how you serve your salads to go.
Have to come here again! Real seafood too. So many pizzas to choose from. Great service. Owner making improvements to the dining room.
