Wow, what an unforgettable stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible hospitality and the prime location.
Our room was absolutely spectacular – it featured a huge patio with a breathtaking view of the East River and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the stunning cityscape.
The area around the hotel is packed with things to do. We loved the convenience of having boat rides and ferries just a block away, making it easy to explore the city from a different perspective. Whether you're into sightseeing or just enjoying the waterfront, there's something for everyone.
A special shoutout to Chris, who truly made our stay extra special. His polished, friendly, and genuine focus on ensuring guests have a great time was evident from the start. Chris went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and catered to our every need with such grace and professionalism.
Overall, our experience at the 33 Hotel was top-notch. We can’t wait to return and enjoy more of what this fantastic hotel and its wonderful staff have to offer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in NYC!
Customer service doesn’t match the fact that it’s a five star hotel. Front desk seemed bothered by us every time we interacted with them. Elevator broke down daily. In-robe rooms were dirty. Had issues with hot water. Bar was closed once (twice?) for events during our stay and we received no advance notice. Other hotels I’ve stayed at text during your stay to see how things are going, nobody ever asked us until we checked out. For the money we paid, I would have liked more care and attention. Front door guys were great, bed was comfortable, but I don’t know there’s anything that makes this special aside from location.
This place is definitely a hidden gem. I arrived a bit early so my room was not ready but was told I had been upgraded and the wait was worth it. The bellman took care of my luggage and I grabbed an espresso martini in the hotel bar Enrique and Abdul were the best between drink quality and service my entire 4 day stay. Once my room was ready the bell man brought me the key and let me know was luggage was in my room. Service was impeccable. I can't say enough about the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk JR and Maria. The entire staff was icing on the cake to this perfectly located chic hotel. Thank you for making my 40th birthday trip perfection. I will be returning on future stays and all I can say is don't sleep on this place and get the balcony room if available.
We had a two king bed room which was a lovely size for two adults and two children. It would be nice to have a family option on the higher floors with the balconies.||Good walking distance to the seaport and financial district, 10 mins to the local subway.||The staff were amazing, door staff particularly. The bar charges are a bit silly, $9 plus tax and tip for a bottle of corona when you could walk to the next block and get it for half that, no wonder the bar was always empty.||The TVs in the rooms could do with showing local NY channels rather than just national cable channels, the air-con could do with being serviced as was quite loud, and whilst the showers are a nice size, the water pressure is a bit weak.||Otherwise a lovely stay.
Fabulous stay at 33 Hotel. Super friendly staff and cleanest rooms in NYC. Bedding and bathrooms were so crisp and clean just like home. This hotel has a great lobby, bar, restaurant, outside eating area and is pet friendly. Great location too. Lots of shopping, bars, restaurants and the ferry within very close proximity. My new go to hotel when I'm in the city.
From the moment we checked in, to checking out — everything was wonderful. I stayed here for my birthday and had an exceptional time. The staff were so attentive and friendly.
They even offered recommendations for dining in the area, though we already had plans. To top it all off, while my guy and I were on the massive terrace enjoying the view of the Brooklyn Bridge, we were surprised when we looked in to the room after a bit to find a bottle of champagne on ice and a lovely note from the manager!

I've been exploring New York, searching for what used to be Mrcshotels.com, and discovered it has become 33 Hotel. To anyone reading this review, let me assure you, this place is a hidden gem. It's private, clean, secure, and simply amazing. The food is delicious, the staff is incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere is exclusive yet welcoming. Plus, the views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the waterways are breathtaking, perfect for capturing the essence of New York. If you're looking for a comfortable and memorable stay, 33 Hotel is the place to be.
Staff was great, beautiful rooms. Quick walk to pier 17. The hotel was located right in the middle of the fun. The staff was accommodating, respectful and overall fun. We got a room upgrade and champagne as a surprise for our anniversary. They made us feel special.
