Chloe was our waitress and she was super cool. Super informative and very nice to deal with. We really liked the food here. The drinks here we had it at sunset, right? Was vacationing in Hood River for our anniversary and choose this place for our anniversary dinner. A Monday night so very laid back and outdoor patio was relaxed and inviting. Friendly wait staff and excellent drinks. For the entree we had the halibut and salmon. Both dishes freshly caught and very well prepared. Desserts looked wonderful, but we were so full after the entree we passed. Would recommend.
Wow. Wonderful backdrop, amazing food, excellent service. You need to try this when in the area. We are staying at Skamania Lodge so only a 35 min drive. We had the crab cakes app so good. The crab stuffed sole was fresh. The halibut super tender. Would definitely return.
This restaurant is our go-to spot, and it never disappoints! This time, we ordered the tuna and filet, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the quality was outstanding. The service is consistently excellent, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!
The cosmo is refreshing and yummy, the aperol need a little bit of sweetness to balance aperol taste. I love the ahi tuna very flavorful and the pickles go so well with the tuna. Shrimp ceviche is ok, a little bland but I love the texture of the shrimp. The halibut lacks a lot of flavor but the service and atmosphere is amazing, love the cool breeze and amazing view
My family and I recently visited this restaurant on a Thursday night. While the culinary experience had its highlights, the overall visit left me with mixed feelings.
Let's start with the positives – the cocktails were packed a punch. The environment was pristine, and the hillside views were absolutely breathtaking.
However, the dining experience took a hit due to the slow service. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, it took a good 15 minutes to be seated (no one in sight as we entered), and another 15-20 minutes before we could even place our drink order. This delay became a concern, especially since we had an event to attend, and we had communicated this to the waitress. It seemed that only after highlighting our time constraints did the pace of service pick up, but still slow for how empty the restaurant was.
While the environment was clean and the ambiance enjoyable, the pricing of the food left me a bit disappointed. The menu did offer higher-end options, suggesting a premium experience, but the overall quality of the dishes did not quite match the elevated prices. The food was good, but did not leave a lasting impression that justified the cost.
In essence, this restaurant appears to thrive more on its stunning views than the food itself. If you're willing to pay a premium for a beautiful setting and decent food, this might be the place for you. However, we were looking for remarkable quality and tasting food which we did not receive.
We had such a wonderful time! The servers greeted and seated us; also with smiles and perfect attention to our group! Had the perfect table outside with an amazing view replete with windsurfers! The food met the high standard as always! They stand out above the rest!! We had, for appetizers, a basket of bread and Fried Calamari. Entrees: Cajun Seafood and Andouille Pasta; Grilled Ribeye; and Crab Stuffed Sole. Desserts were awesome too: we had Carrot Cake and a Fruit Cobbler- name escapes me...(Pics below don't do justice) Thank you, Emily and Courtney, for making our Father's Day celebration Exceptional!
We had great expectations for this place and it was a let down. We came for a late lunch and they were not busy. Asked to seat outside, the views were gorgeous.
Our server was terrible, he obviously didn’t want to be there. He was off standish and not very caring.
Our crab cakes appetizer was delicious. That was the best part of the meal.
My Manhattan was terrible and the glass was half filled when brought out.
I had tuna which was good, but the plate was monstrous, had way too much food that looked like it had been just thrown on the plate. They tried to make it look pretty but failed.
My husband had a mushroom ravioli. The sauce had huge pieces of barely cooked bell peppers and red onions, they were super crunchy and overpowering the flavor of the meal. They had no business being there. Shrimp was overcooked and rubbery.
