Location, location, location! First off I was greeted by Ray. Very welcoming and friendly. I asked him about walking around and he gave me a timeline, my plan was to walk everywhere I could. The Beach, Heavenly Village, shopping, restaurants, casinos, dispensary, massages, only 10-20 minutes to all my destinations. Housekeeping personnel were very attentive and friendly. The parking lot is somewhat small, but there is street parking, The room was very spacious, and clean. Overall, I would definitely stay there again and recommend these accomodations to future travelers????
Convenient location, great facilities, simple and fast check in and check out. Parking does get busy if you arrive after 8pm during peak season. We stayed in late September. Rooms were nice and warm. The king suite was spacious and bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. They have a stove top and basic cooking utensils so you can prepare your own meals if you wish. Room was clean and there were plenty of towels provided. Housekeeping needs to be booked in advance. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance and there is a beach nearby. There is also an outdoor pool and spa. I'd stay here again if I visit Lake Tahoe again.
We had a really horrible experience. The front desk staff was speaking poorly of guests and rude when we checked in (all other staff was friendly). We had a fire alarm that needed batteries replaced and they did not replace when we asked, so it beeped our entire stay. The water completely stopped when taking a shower as well.
They stated we did not tell them we had a dog and front desk always ask if guests are bringing a dog??? We specifically booked our stay at the hotel because we were bringing a dog. Our dog even came into the lobby at one point. They charged us an extra $200 claiming we did not disclose we were bringing a dog!
There was also trash everywhere.
3 peaks was absolutely wonderful. Bed was super comfortable, blackout curtains were some of the best..absolutely no light came in which was great when we wanted to sleep in. Location is wonderful being minutes from nearly any and everything. (Restaurants, the lake, casinos, gas station, the gondola, etc.) The only two things that I could say wasn’t the greatest is our jacuzzi tub didn’t work, and the gentleman working the night shift wasn’t very pleasant or helpful. Other than that, everything was perfect.
My review is soley based on my reservation only. I called 2 days ago to book a room for Wednesday. But my husband got sick and had to call to see if we could change the date. They were able to help us to change it. I unfortunately had to just cancel reservations because we don't want to risk the him getting worse or the children getting sick while on vacation. I would definitely recommend them. They were really informative about the area to. She told me what I would need for the kids as well.
Jessica and Senia were extremely helpful and accommodating! We had a perfect stay- clean rooms and perfect location. The double hot tub is very spacious and relaxing. The pool is also very nice. The location is perfect and walking distance to the lake, many restaurants, shops and casinos. Perfect place and reasonable price. I definitely recommend staying here when in South Lake Tahoe. I will be booking again in the future.
Room is good. It was supposed to be a sofa cum bed that can accommodate 2 ppl. We booked a stay for 6 people. All our stay suddenly become very problematic because the lights go off as soon as we use the heater in the room. We called front desk and lights did come back. This happened multiple times and after 3rd time front desk stopped responding in middle of night. I went to office to speak to them directly. The lady told that the person who works on that is not there and can't do anything until tomorrow. It's just a switching on the tripped button. What's the big deal in that. It was 3rd of November. On 4th morning different staff are there. When I asked them, for these kind of issues, there is a person available here 24 hours. I was kind of what the heck is wrong with staff. The night shift lady should have done her job properly. It's too cold there and was hell of the night to go through the night without power.
Let me first say that we enjoyed ourselves at 3 Peaks and we would go back. We got the 2 room townhouse and it had plenty of space. The reason it’s getting a 3 isn’t because it wasn’t perfect, but how they handled the situation.
The heater wasn’t working in the room we our baby in, and they brought us a space heater because they couldn’t figure it out, no problem (Boris who helped us was great). Only 2 burners on the stove worked, and in the kitchen the fan had no chain to pull, in general everything could’ve just been a tad cleaner. After we called them for the heater we figured we’d tell them about the other stuff later, didn’t want workers in our room for the whole trip.
When we left on Sunday I told the front desk and she said she noted it, but as far as compensation the manager wouldn’t be there until Tuesday so I could call back (even though she noted it). Why should the customer have call back to check in on what I told them about? I feel like the manager should’ve been the one to call me and at least check in.
She was probably just following protocol, but didn’t make sense to me. Still a great location and good middle ground if you have a big group and don’t want to deal with Airbnb charges.
