Get there early especially on the weekends! No indoor seating, so watch the weather. Obviously not their fault for being so popular but we arrived at 1 for lunch and they were out of just about everything but pork ribs and beef sausage. The ribs were great: crispy sweet bark, melting rib meat, didn’t need sauce but the glaze they had left was not it. Tasted like oil and honey, not bbq sauce. Fortunately there was a chipotle sauce that was very tasty, tangy and a little smoked spice. The Mac had chicharon on it that I liked a lot but my girlfriend wasn’t a fan. The pickles were 11/10 good, like worth the drive. I anticipate after the Michelin recognition it will only get busier, the line starts to form around 10:30 on Saturdays when they offer beef ribs for the only day of the week. I will be back to try to brisket!
Great barbecue, the beef rib will feed a family of four. Portions make it a value. A single brisket sandwich will feed two. The sides (Mexican Street Corn, chicharon mac n cheese) off the chains. Very good sauce.
Hot dog this place is wild. Been wanting to try it forever. Got a brisket sandwich and the guy behind me let me sample his burnt ends. Everything was absolutely killer. Seasoning complimented everything super well and the barbecue sauce was perfect for the sandwich. Service was great, they remembered my name and were helpful with ordering. Going to make this a regular spot.
The food and the service were exceptional! Let's talk about the sauce, I have never had anything as delicious as this combination! It's sweet, spicy, and not tomato based. It's literally liquid gold!!! Highly recommend!!!
I had very high expectations from what people recommend this spot, and it was good! Not great,
But maybe it was the time of the day or just things were not aligned. Overall the meats were good, but the turkey was very dry. The sides were very good, all tasted awesome! The Serrano pickles were the bomb!
My family and I came here since it was rated highly online and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the 2lb brisket family meal with sides of street corn and coleslaw and added a side of beans and more veggies. We ate the majority of it and took the very last amount back to include in our dinner that evening. Fabulous meal and friendly staff.
Wow! From Reno to Florida, this brisket and pulled pork make my top 5 list...
The line was out the door when we arrived at 11 as they opened. The staff was great, and we were served in under 15 minutes.
My sister was in town from California for her birthday and her only request was that we went and got BBQ. I’ve had this spot saved to check out for a while, and I can happily say that it did not disappoint. My sister is a HUGE beef rib fan and fortunately her birthday fell on a Saturday so that’s exactly what we got. Overall the meat was great but it’s not often that a BBQ spot takes their sides seriously. I’m still dreaming about that corn. SO. GOOD. The wife was jealous that she didn’t get to come with us. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be back!
