The one on research isn't open 24 hours, the place is dirty they have a lot of stuff that has been broken for months. The pool is always dirty. We asked them when it was cleaned the guy said yesterday. The lane had hair and dead bugs in it. The locker room is dirty. There was a bad of cocaine on the ground. I told the front desk staff and they could careless. The. Even asked me to go get the bag for them so no one else would see it.
I am giving 5 star as I like the gym very much. All are good with the gym but need to improve in two places:
1. Gym is not opened for 24 hours.
2. Men's restroom area needs to be improved in sort of cleanliness, number of restrooms are less.
Avoid this place at all costs. They barely have a machine fully functional - most are poorly maintained, worn down, purely nonfunctional. Old people plague the gym with poor manners and gym etiquette - especially if you’re a woman, the men will be creepy. Also, good luck in the parking lot, hope you have good insurance because boomers will almost hit every time. Staff is meh. The ceiling leaks when it rains and has yet to be fixed in the 3 years I’ve been going. Cleaning supplies is rarely restocked promptly. Showers and bathrooms are rotten. Constant FOX news and other old people crap on the TVs - sports only please. Only reason I went to this gym so long is because there weren’t many affordable options. You have a better chance of a decent workout at home. I am finally free ????️
Their pricing is not transparent nor cohesive, they are not open 24/7 (not even close to 24/7), the facility is disgusting, it’s crowded, and machines take months to repair. However, the employees have always been nice.
The business is very mismanaged; it’s sad because it has so much potential. I was offered vastly different monthly prices and initiation fees between my first visit and second visit, then was overcharged by 60 dollars after purchasing a year in full. The price is simply not fair for how little effort the management puts into the gym. Please, fix this place. Extend your hours. Clean and repair your machines. Fix your pricing. Before you end up with a lawsuit.
24 was clean and and spacious for the most part. I think we could use more space to use the free weights, though. The downstairs does have a free weight room but it doesn't seem as well stocked for many folks to be in there even though there is space.
The sauna is spacious. The steam room is set at a challenging but tolerable temperature to ease you in.
Finally, the staff are very friendly! I would say that this 24 hr fitness is a great choice for a home gym. If only they stayed open for 24 hrs!
This is probably one of the more outdated gyms I've been to in the last 3 years. Machines are old and not super well maintained. There are no plastic chords on the pins for the weight stacks, pins, when adjusting machines are tight and hard to get to sit in position. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was my first time at this location, and they were accommodating, and I do really appreciate that. The free weight section was large, and there were multiple power racks. Didn't swing by the lap pool, but it seemed to be in decent shape. Will return to this location as it's the closest one to my mother in laws, but I won't be telling all my friends that this 24 is "the" 24.
I went in for the first time, there was a couple getting the official 24h grand welcome to the gym. I was signed up at the desk, and was then told to go. No tour, no pointers or offers, no direction to the locker rooms, no hours (even though it’s marketed as ‘24’ hour fitness) the couple was still getting the grand explanation of everything regarding the gym and the guy helping me was still dismissing me “you’re all set, go enjoy the gym”The only difference between myself and everyone else around and at that front desk, was that I was the only one of a different color. When I asked for the locker rooms and where the actually gym was at I got a quick “that way and up stairs.”
This place is gross. It's dirty and continues to get worse. I've never seen anyone clean and it doesn't look like it has been in years. We used the steam room and it smelled like mildew, was slimy and now both of us have throat pain, hopefully not legionaires. The sauna had dirty marks all over the glass. Floors are disgusting and you can see mold around the pool areas. The restrooms have clumps of hair everywhere and dirt and pee in the showers. Most of the showers are broken, most of the sinks are broken. There are no functioning water fountains downstairs. Everything has so much dust and dirt solid clumps fall off the Machines while using them. Also people just sit on their phones on the machines, which there are not very many working ones, so good luck getting a workout finished in a timely manner. The cardio machines are mostly broken and even some that aren't marked broken will suddenly stop while you're on them. The upstairs just had puddles of water everywhere, no signs or anyone cleaning it. The workers just sit on their phones up front, don't bother greeting you, cleaning, being friendly or anything
If ypu ask a question, good luck getting help or answers. I'll post some pictures of the grossness.
