I will give this place 2 Stars as the staff are friendly. This place has gotten worse over time. There's missing dumbells. Multiple bent barbells. Multiple machines that need repairs to various degrees. This place is completely full of people wasting their time, not working out, staring at their phones, in the way, preventing those of us who actually do work out, from getting the job done.
Seems like 24 hour does not care to much about its members. Saturday at 9am and no staff in sight. It’s been one month I’ve been coming to this gym and it’s ok. Bathrooms are gross too.
Don’t get me wrong I like the gym. But the locker rooms are filthy. I’m in here right now in the peak of the morning and the gym is empty but the restrooms are disputing. There’s dirt, feces, and urine around the stalls and the changing section. It really makes me reconsider gyms. How is it 7am and the restrooms are that dirty? The whole restroom looks like it wasn’t cleaned the night before.
If you want to swim for a work out...the pool in this gym stays closed for long periods of times. I only swim because of injuries. I got the membership because its literally 5 min from my job and I pay to use the pool....but it always has issues with chemicals in the water. I should get a discount for all the days of not being able to swim. Its been taking now weeks since their pool has been shut down. What a rip off.
This 24 hour fitness location has a history of vehicle break-ins and burglaries. The staff does not cooperate and will not assist. I reported the break in and they have done nothing. They don't return my calls and claim they have cameras but the staff didn't know if they worked or not. Their GM was unavailable during the ordeal and that individual still has not cared to look into the matter. I highly recommend another 24 hour fitness until they protect their customers better and provide assistance in this very serious, regular occurring issue.
One in four weight and cardio machines is in a state of disrepair, out of service, or simply dangerous to use. This place has virtually turned their back on taking care of things.
Update... A little better taken care of than before. The cardio machines still need some tending to
Update as of June 2024: the gym is nosediving. Zero cares on repairs. See attached pictures for an idea of what to expect.
I joined the gym in June 2024. Scheduled a complimentary session with Nate T on July 4. Nate was absolutely phenomenal! He gave me a whole different perspective on the gym life. Not being overly aggressive about personal training but genuine about helping me with personal goals. I am fully committed now.
Before signing up for a membership at 24 Hour Fitness, be absolutely sure you’re committed for the long haul. Their cancellation process is notoriously difficult, and it can be a nightmare to end your membership. While their customer service is helpful when you're joining, they’re far less responsive when you want to cancel. In my case, they continued charging me for nearly 11 months after I requested to cancel and I am still challenging
