After a full day of exploring me and my partner we chose to this amazing rooftop bar to relax and I am glad we did. We managed to go there during their happy hour, got ourselves some drinks and some snacks. Crowd was amazing, took us a while to get a spot to sit as it was packed but the vibes this place has to offer is amazing. Would definitely go back!!
This is my favorite bar I have ever been to! We happened to stumble upon it just by walking by, and to our surprise, it was like nothing we had experienced before. We went during late April and were given red blanket/jackets upon arrival to stay warm! I thought this is so fun and unique. They do offer mock tails which I thought was awesome as someone who is not a drinker! The views from the rooftop will not disappoint. The staff is extremely friendly and chatty!
Love this club and rooftop bar. There was a $40 cover to enter. Views from this rooftop bar were amazing, right next to the Empire State Building.
Club was located one level below, DJ played great music, we were there on a Friday night and it was packed.
Please make reservations, they do have a walk in area which is first come first serve and it was packed as well. We got a spot in 30mins.
Food was terrible there, drinks were great.
230 Fifth Rooftop Bar in New York offers a stunning skyline view, trendy ambiance, and an extensive drink menu. This is a very spacious rooftop that makes it perfect for both intimate gatherings and larger parties. However, be prepared for crowds, especially during peak hours, and prices that match the upscale atmosphere. I think I will be visiting it any time that I visit New York. We arrived early and it was easy to enter but when we leave the place in the evening, there was a very long line along the sidewalk to enter, so I recommend that you go early if you want to avoid the waiting and the line. We tried a pizza and I liked the crust thin and wood-fire-oven cooked style. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable rooftop experience in the heart of New York City.
This is a very nice looking place with several floors and a great outdoor view of the Empire State Building. Large facilities. Private Parties. Nice staff especially our Server Kim. Great for drinks. Food is ok. You’re really here for the breathtaking views.
I’d heard about this place from a friend and we decided to visit. The line outside seemed daunting but it moved pretty quickly and we were inside with a few minutes, and on the roof in a few more.
Outside was packed but not overwhelming. It didn’t take long to get drinks and the vibe out there was really nice.
Excellent views of the city. Would definitely recommend as a spot to have drinks with friends.
Last night, we celebrated my birthday at this place with glowing igloos on the roof, a cool setup because of the weather. It was my first time in NY, so I really wanted to try this popular spot. Our server was super nice, even though we didn't catch her name. Food was below average and the drinks option were very very limited. Overall, an average experience. The view was amazing, though, so that made up for it. Overall, it was just okay.
We went there for the view! And it did serve us well! We went there walking from our hotel as it was nearby, the security guard checked our id cards before we entered. Unfortunately, when we reached the top, we couldn’t find a place to sit, the manager and people there said that the tables were all reserved. Also, we reached there at around 9, and nobody showed us where to be seated, went down to the club area, again went up to the rooftop, we kept on waiting and asking. Finally got a table at 10 pm :) The counter also got closed but we begged them to serve us just 2 slices of pizza as we were damn hungry after a long day. We also then got the flamingo and duck drinks. Took the flamingo home too! Decent music and pretty decor, with small igloo-like private seatings.
