Would like ti give 5 stars but the restrooms need attention and the restaurant could use some fixing up with the ceiling tiles looking worn and the parking lot has some lovely pot holes to swallow a truck but despite all that, the food in the Restaurant was amazing, had the hamburger steak and onions, baked potatoe and a salad. Was hoping to have a soup because I felt under the weather but the main guy was very friendly, nice hospitality, hell of a cook. Definitely would like to stop again just for the food.
Stopped here because I read so many positive reviews and they have free truck parking.
The Cafe definitely didn’t disappoint, I got a cheeseburger and fries and everything was excellent and flavorful. And no, they weren’t served on a paper plate like a previous review had stated. Sorry I didn’t take any pictures ????
Payed at the counter and was greeted by a very friendly cashier named Mariah. All in all I like stopping here and I will again next time I’m in the area.
I don't know who writes these reviews, I hope the free showers for truckers were clean, because that was absolutely not the case for the restrooms. The restrooms were just unacceptable. One of the stalls in the women's was out of order, the door in another stall did not lock, the toilet paper roll intended for use was on the floor and most stalls did not have toilet paper at all. And everything in the restroom was dirty.
EDIT: Despite the owner's response, the restrooms that I saw were not nearly regularly cleaned by the truck stop staff. I believe it's unethical to blame the fellow visitors for the inexcusable situation of the restrooms. I have seen messiness left behind by fellow visitors, but the restrooms in this specific truck stop had grime that has been accumulating for a long while.
You need to stop here. Old school truck stop. Diamond in the rough. Food is superb, friendly staff, and free showers. A must stop.
The parking lot is rough, but we'll worth it. I was given free pumpkin and sweet potato cake while I waited on my order. Wow. The lady who gave me the cake was like everyone's grandma. We talked for a while, and she even gave me a hug before I left. Wonderful people. I felt at home. I will definitely be back. Grilled chicken salad in the picture. I would have put a picture of the cake, but I ate it. ???? Gone quickly
Ps. I stopped here a week later and got a free shower with towels. Adding pictures.

Seems like a fine place. I was pretty surprised that the coffee pot was empty at 8am but I'd assume there was some in the restaurant. I was charged $.50 for a card transaction under $5 which I understand, just figured I'd note it because it's not really the norm these days. I wanted cappuccino and ice and I was able to get what I wanted. Cashier was very friendly, bathroom seemed fine, they have a pretty impressive selection of items available including maintenance and repair items, grocery items, apparel, pipes, novelties, even drug test aids. I didn't have time to try the restaurant. The parking lot is a little rough but there's a reasonable amount of truck parking, I was very satisfied to be able to pull in at 10pm on a Monday night and find a spot.
Probably the filthiest bathroom and gas station I have ever been in… toilet paper was in big rolls on the dirty floor and unrolled on the floor…
