Nice local bar in Hollywood. The bartenders are super friendly. The specials are great. They serve great Rockefeller Oysters and chicken wings. Full menu. Only downside os the extra charges... Great music and pool table there. They can maybe add a dart board. Great place to stop by and hang with friendly locals. Big tv to watch sports
A while ago I went in to watch some basketball, have some wings beer. The wings are great.
Sat at the bar and almost no one was there that night. Then a woman and two men came in, yelling pro KKK propaganda and sat right next to me. I started asking them questions since they were being so vocal. After a few minutes the bartender said she was packing up my food and that I should leave. Maybe she was protecting me but the other customers shouting hate speech are the ones who should have been asked to leave.
Most people had been friendly when I went there previously, but I won't ever go back. Plenty of other bars to go to where I can feel comfortable standing up to ignorance and know the staff supports as well. Management needs to be clear on their stance on this.
One of the few last bar bars and this one’s great! Tell me where can you get a dozen oyster Rockefeller for only $15, incredible! Their daily specials are incredible. Maybe I shouldn’t say anymore but the place gets swamped it might get changed.
Great food. Servers and staff are drugged out. Called for a pick up. Messed up my wings. Called and they gave an attitude, but said they would redo if we brought them back. They are 15 minutes away. We drove back because their wings are awesome. And all they did was retoss them in the right sauce. Got home and they were cold and soggy. Called again they gave more attitude but said they would redo if I brought back. I said if I come back I want a refund too since this is the third time and she said fine. Got there bartender said "oh your the one with an attitude about food" manager claimed to be owner and was just as rude. Refused to redo wings and give refund. Gave me refund in cash and told me to get out. Without my food! Wasted over an hour and still didn't get any food!
Recently renovated, yet retains cool Old Florida ambiance. Great wings, steaks, chowder. Super friendly staff. Clean, not smoky. Great Happy Hour specials. Oysters are highly recommended
My experience was not good. First I order a Guinness and it was flat. Ordered the oysters very forgettable. We're so tiny could barely taste them. Special kind of spot. I would go back if they had better selection of beers.
I've never been to a bar in which the bartender asks me to buy them drinks,and then pours themself the most expensive alcohol in the bar like a stripper would do at a strip club. The first time I went there someone stole my phone off the bar. It was found the next day at Mickey Burns.( A place I've never been to by the way) Avoid this place like the plague. I won't be back. All the local homeless addicts with their backpacks and bicycles really seem to love this place though.I guess if you were a local and you walk in with your bicycle and backpack, they won't try to roll you.
First time I ordered, was good. I ordered tonight, 12/11/2020....on top of my order taking an extra 30 minutes (chicken parm sub and loaded fries), when I received my order, they gave me the wrong fries. I called to let them know, and apparently they don't have time for phone calls, so I couldn't even get them to give me the correct order. Very disappointed. Not sure that I'll order from here again. The other reviewer was right - it was WAY better when it was G's Place.
