Lovely cafe we stumbled upon whilst in the area. The coffees we ordered were perfectly made and the cakes were delicious. The owner was so nice too; it was lovely talking to them about the cafe. When I'm in that neck of the woods next, I'll come back here for sure!
Love this spot! The coffee is so good, the baked goods are from scratch and fresh, v talented team. Serve breakfast and lunch, it's a little expensive but it's high quality food and produce. A proper community feel, owner puts a lot of love into the place and it shows. This is a special and unique spot in London Fields, where there's a constant crop of same-same shops coming up. I choose to spend my time and money here. :)
Best almond flat white in the London Fields area! And don’t even get me started on the cakes… delicious!????Would definitely recommend paying a visit if you’re in the area!
Best Italian coffee shop and bakery next to London Fields.
Please do not hesitate to visit!
They serve excellent coffee and delicious meals and desserts, if you’re after pasta, fresh baked focaccia, bread or one the best cookies this is the place to go. If you’re after supplies, there’s a fridge and shop on the back as well :)
The team is super fun and friendly. The coffee shop itself is very welcoming and very colourful, with confortable seats + tables and the decoration is very original. You’ll see the shop’s graphics and identity everywhere: little hand paintings which represent how everything at the shop is freshly baked/handmade.
The place is of course pet-friendly and if you’re lucky Laura will be there with Chunky, her frenchie. :D ????
Best of all is that if you’re in need of the perfect birthday cake, the team will go above and beyond to prepare the exact cake you’re looking for! even if it’s not on the menu…
If I could, I would give this place 10 stars.
Really relaxed coffee and lunch spot. Home made products including a super Chai tea. Great vibe for informal meetings too. Great service with really friendly accommodating team.
Laura has been feeding me over the years and she’s not just a great cook, but also an amazing pastry chef. I took part in her gluten and dairy free bakery course and it was super fan! She guided me through three different recipes, giving me precious tips on how to make the desserts that one can choose during the course. If you have a sweet tooth and love baking, I would highly recommend to contact her and visit her caff in London Fields. I guarantee you, you’ll make yourself happy!
I was with friends in the area when we found this place that was dog friendly and had great reviews but unfortunately our experience was quite unpleasant.
I love to visit and try different independent cafes in the city and it disheartens me to leave a bad review but I hope this could be useful for the owner that seems to be a passionate person about her business.
To start with the good part, the food we tried was great, very well made, fresh and tasty! The place has a lot of character and quirky bits that are delightful to look at and the playlist was spot on.
But unfortunately there is a bad part: from the beginning, the staff was very unfriendly and seemed very stressed.
We ordered a couple of Ciobar, expecting the creamy delicious Italian classic (denso e cremoso) that we love but received a very watery drink. They just mixed the package on the milk and that was it, never mind about prepping it properly to make it thick.
We also ordered tea and the mug attached to the bottom of the tea pot was very stained and dirty. We asked if they could change it because it was dirty, they did but claimed it wasn't dirty, just stained. The cutlery was poorly washed as well. But the worst part was the little milk jug for the tea, it was crooked and I have no idea of what happened with the milk, but it had very weird lumps, definitely not what you expect to receive as a customer.
A lovely Italian café tucked away in a quiet corner near London Fields, with a friendly, relaxed vibe. The coffee and pastries are amazing (the cinnamon swirls in particular are so good!!)
They also sell Italian deli items - ground coffee, pasta, panettone, etc - which make great presents!
My friend bought a takeaway lunch, which happened to be freshly made whilst we had our coffee and pastries. It looked delicious, will definitely be back for some of that :)
