Best WLM Reviews
From the fancy tables to the amazing service and food, we loved it all. We ordered the ribeye with french fries and a couple of drinks. For the location and the quality and size of the rib eye (8oz) the price was not what we expected. The stake was juicy and done to perfection. Izzy, our server, was incredibly helpful and courteous. We ate inside since it was cold. The atmosphere was very romantic. Everything was spotless. Even the manager came to us to make sure we were ok with everything. We will definitely go back to try their famous Surf and Turf and their homemade pasta.
Rodeo drive is absolutely gorgeous!! Getting there right before 6 pm and parking in the garage for 2 hrs free. The stores were closing, but still, there were a lot of tourists there enjoying the area. There was a live band. The atmosphere was realllllly nice!!! Nice ambience. Next time, we'll get there early enough to shop!
After a long walk off Rodeo Drive, we were famished. The staff offered us an outdoor seating but we preferred to go inside for a cooler temperature. We were greeted, placed our order and the food came in. It was a pleasant experience, loved the food, had nice conversation, despite a bit tight space. Highly recommended.
My first time visiting Beverly Hills and 3 of us had lunch outdoors at 208 Rodeo Drive. We each had a cocktail $20-22us each). Husband and I shared the Asian salad topped with steak ($22), adult son had pasta bolognese ($31). We shared 2 desserts, cheesecake and absolutely delicious rolada (cake rolled with whipped cream and fruit). $153us + tax $14 +tip $20. We very much enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant. A nice treat on our vacation.
Fantastic good and service! Lots of options and types of food. Amazing way to present the Desserts Menu where the full plate with actual options was presented to select from…. Was difficult to say no to that! Highly recommended and we will definitely go back when on Rodeo Drive!
The 208 exemplifies good Customer Service! Jay, who is tough on the outside, but a true gentleman, always warmly welcomes me, and makes sure that I am taken care of throughout my meal. He also has a warm welcome for my guests. He always asks how I am and really wants to know! The servers, I can't remember all the names, are friendly, efficient and know how their roles. Anita and Stacey come to mind. Stacey took time yesterday to see pictured of my new "flame", and tell me about her passion for her F250. William, the Manager, always comes by to make sure everything is to my liking. The food is excellent and diverse. The ambiance, well Rodeo and Wilshire is blessed! There is free parking most of the time, and the area is perfect for people watching... a plethora from all over the world!
During my recent shopping trip to Beverly Hills, I decided to treat myself to a meal at 208 Rodeo, and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a lovely hostess named Elly, who seated me immediately with a smile. The ambiance was perfect, especially with the stunning view of the clear street at 7 PM.
To start, I indulged in the Wagyu Carpaccio topped with fresh truffle, paired with an espresso martini. The flavors were exquisite, a delightful combination that set the tone for the evening. For my entrée, I chose the Filet Mignon with the Lobster Tail, and they were nothing short of spectacular—cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
The service throughout the meal was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to assist. I was especially impressed when managers Chad and William took the time to check on me as I praised the food. Their dedication to ensuring a great dining experience was evident.
Overall, 208 Rodeo is a must-visit for anyone in Beverly Hills. With delicious food, impeccable service, and a lovely atmosphere, it’s a dining experience I highly recommend. Great job, team!
Parking: There is a parking garage on Rodeo and Dayton that provides quick access to the restaurant. After 6pm, you can park for a $10 fee. The walk from the garage to the restaurant is pleasant. Although it’s a short distance, you’ll walk by a number of the finest luxury designer boutiques.
Reservations: Reservations were not only easy to book, but available at short notice. There is no fee for lateness or cancellation. Upon arrival, I stated that I had a reservation, but I think I would’ve been seated just as quickly had I not.
Service: There was a waiter nearby at all times to assist us with our needs whether It be placing an order, refilling water, asking for the bill or directions to the bathroom. I think this also has to do with our seating, We sat directly outside the restaurant, therefore all waiters/waitresses , busboys and host needed to walk past us often. The outdoor fridge containing desserts and sparkling water was directly across from our table, making service quick.
Food: In this day and age, many restaurants are charging for bread and some are not even offering It at all. 208 Rodeo hasn’t abandoned the bread option, but does charge an extra $12 for truffle butter.
We ordered the 208 Burger. This includes a Wagyu blend, caramelized onion, sharp cheddar, truffle aioli, brioche bun, garlic fries. This fries were thinly sliced. The burger is filling and is enough to satisfy you if eating It alone.
I ordered a side of Truffle Mac and Cheese. The portion size was small and It lacked salt. Both the salt and Mac and Cheese were finished the next day as leftovers. Once adding a bit more salt to the Mac and Cheese, the taste improved dramatically.
My guest ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese. This was toothsome, but why pay $36 for an appetizer lobster Mac and cheese, if you can have a half Maine lobster tail for six dollars less or a lobster spaghetti for $12 more.
Comfort: This restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating allows you to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. There are outdoor heaters provided that will absolutely keep you warm.
Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant. You have the option to eat indoor or outside. It’s pretty easy to snag a reservation here and the ease of parking makes It a much more accommodating experience. I would definitely recommend this place for a date night.
