Best WLM Reviews
Stopped by for lunch at this cozy & spacious restaurant. They have a bar & several tables to accommodate fairly large groups. Our waitress was very friendly and informative of the menu items. My shrimp tacos with bits of pineapple & peppers had a nice sweet & spicy touch. Only bad part about this dish, is the dish it is served on. It is a nice blue dish that has triangle gaps for the tacos, but the juices stay in those gaps & make the tacos soggy; in which they fall apart. My rice & refried beans were warm but not hot. The steak nachos were fulfilling with juicy chunks of meat. The draft beer & cocktails were satisfying in size & taste. This is a nice spot to stop & eat at if you don't want the traditional fast food offered.
Great place to hang out and sip some good tequila. I had the Herradura Anejo, neat, $16. Delicious tequila.
The chips are hot and crispy, salsa is mild but good flavor. Guacamole is fresh great by itself, or kick it up with some Pico.
Mickey was a very efficient and attentive bar tender. Plenty of people ordering nachos and tacos. Friendly place.
Great spot for waiting between flights. Good music, variety of seating options for individuals or groups, a bar, and plenty of outlets.
The tortilla soup tasted genuinely scratch-made, which was delicious.
The menu doesn't include chimichangas, but Tiffany offered to fry the burrito a bit, showing she knows her stuff.
Tiffany was very attentive.
It's definitely my favorite spot in DFW so far.
At the Dallas airport. Tried the classic margarita, I would recommend upgrading to the better tequila. Ordered the nachos, the beef wasn’t the greatest but it had creamy nacho cheese so you can’t go wrong. The nachos are large enough for 2 to split.
Hungry during my layover at DFW Airport. Was recommended to come here by a staff member. Service was good- our waitress was super nice. The food I didn't have high expectations for being in the airport etc. Glad I had that mindset because you'll not be impressed or Wow'd by any of it.... At all. If I had to say get any of the best I'd to get the grilled steak. Chicken was meh. The beef was a complete letdown. Of course you are paying airport type prices- I believe three tacos with rice/beans was $22. I think I'd try finding a sandwich shop or something instead.
Stopped here for lunch on a three hour layover. I ordered the Nachos but subbed the beef for refried beans for a vegan option and also got a cheese quesadilla. While the food wasn't awe inspiring it was good and I'm glad there were adjustments I could make to make my meal vegetarian.
The service was great and we never went without anything. Very pleased and would eat here again!
As a bonus, I travel with a service dog and there's a relief area right by the restaraunt making it even better. Atmosphere was pretty quiet and lots of tables available.
My wife and I came in with 20 minutes left until closing. Didn't want to burden the cooking staff just wanted a couple drinks. *Mike* provided the best experience, providing chips/salsa and drinks and then proceeded to clean/mop/assist with all closing dutys. Mike served us along with multiple tables and is a bad ass. The bar tender and staff were also amazing. Dam. This bar killed it.
Well I guess you get what you pay for at the airport. They have a 2.0 Coffee Bar on the side of the restaurant. They were switching over from Breakfast to lunch when I arrived and I ordered a regular cup of to offer for under $5 dollars, which is the least expensive Ive seen at the airport. Unfortunately the coffee was like warm. I brought it to the attention of the manger and he brashly informed me, the coffee has not expired. I informed him the coffee doesn't taste old just not hot. He proceeded to take the lukewarm coffee from me and give me another Luke warm coffee with no lid and walked back to the restaurant. I had to wait 2 more minutes just to get a lid from the business employee who was serving another customer. I know where at the airport and I know the coffee was inexpensive but bad customer service is never acceptable.
