Best WLM Reviews
A good place to get lunch or dinner the food is usually on point. The starters are great for the bar food type items to watch whatever game that is on. Service is hit and miss some of the staff is slow as fack and they may forget you. Burgers and melts are my favorite items. Sandwiches are great also
Amazing steak street tacos!! Pita is a wonderful server!! ❤️ I definitely recommend eating here ????
Sweet waitresses offered a refreshing margarita watermelon drink. ????
Giving this a 4-star rating because I feel like it's under-rated (amongst other Pecos restaurants).
My husband and I spent the night in Pecos and wee looking for a "good" place to eat.
This was the 2nd choice for us, as our first choice (based on convenience only as it was located next to our hotel) was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We had zero expectations based on the reviews but needed to eat, so headed to the restaurant.
It was a Sunday night and, to our pleasant surprise, found the place to be packed!
I chose the Cajun chicken sandwich (sans pico) and my husband went with the basic burger.
We were both very pleasantly surprised! Our dishes were perfectly cooked (yeah - cuz our expectation was they would be hockey pucks), the chicken/meat seemed to be fairly fresh (double yeah!) and both actually had some flavor to them. ... And the fries were hot!!
And our server was very attentive!
The only downside is that they only serve beer (and the first 2 I wanted they were out of!).
We've eaten there twice now, with Lupita being our server both times. Our food is always delicious and her service is absolutely exceptional. It's rare to find wait staff that can keep up with how fast I chug sweet tea, but she manages...and is so personable in the process. Pecos has a pretty impressive food scene and 2 Javelinas Draft House has quickly become one of our favorites. Great job guys!
I went there with another co worker, I ordered a simple burger with fries, and they never brought me my food. My coworkers food came out but after 45 minutes of asking the waitress about my food and being told it's almost out, never recieved my food. Bad experience here
Javelins Burger
The meat was cooked perfectly.
The bun it came on was great
The pulled pork had a nice smoke flavor
The bacon in my opinion should be sliced
The cheese sauce was not made from the right cheese and needs more flavor maybe pinto cheese the ???? where fresh and cook well maybe a green chili as well on the burger
Ordered a cajun chicken sandwich with fries got it with in 5 mins of ordering it was kinda surprised I got it so quick. It was ok but not worth $15 considering you get a regular size hoagie bun cut in half with a piece of chicken on each half that didn't even cover each bun definitely disappointed will not order that sandwich again and you get a small amount of fries ...DEFINITELY NOT A $15 Meal
