It's a cute concept. Unfortunately I feel it failed in its execution.
I went on a busy Saturday and expected a bit of a wait to get my hummus plate and veggie wrap. I did not expect to wait 30 minutes, and I did not expect the pita bread and the wrap to both be fried! Who does that? The young man who took my order was very friendly and professional. Unfortunately other staff members were not wearing masks, despite a city mask mandate and Union Station's own policy. I was order 34 and listened as they called out 19...20...(etc.)...31...30...39...40... I went in just to see if I'd missed them calling my name, but no, it was really a 39 minute wait for two items that could be assembled with no cooking, if they hadn't insisted on frying all the breads.
When my order finally came, I had to go back to the counter to request silverware. Luckily the young man who'd taken my order checked on me and I didn't have to wait through the line again. The outdoor seating was nice, with a view over the koi pond. Music was playing and there was a fire show at 1 pm. The experience was all right but the majority of my food went to waste after that long wait. Had hoped for fresher and better quality food that didn't take half an hour. Probably will not return.
Took my 3 yo in on a quiet Tuesday around 2:15pm for a soft pretzel. 2 staff members in the kitchen and one at the counter led to a pretty fast turnaround. The $5 pretzel was probably otherwise standard but they warmed, buttered and salted it and the pretzel was surprisingly tasty. Less than 5 min wait time for our item. We sat outside though the inside was spacious and tidy. The experience was good.

The ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is for Darold who worked alone taking orders and cooking. He was calm, patient and friendly. He’s one of the finest StL has to offer.
Nice little stop while you are at Union station. Food is fine mother to write home about. Bills lemonade was very good
Soda machine hasn’t had co2 tank in 3 years. They take a lot of liberties on menu items (honey mustard sauce on hot & spicy chx sandwich). Staff unenthused. Save ur $$
Wish I could take stars away from this review. The food was okay. The service was horrible. Our order was taken (with a $22.00 suggested tip), the guy turned around walked away and went outside and never came back. We did not get a receipt, drink cups, or any explanation. There were no less than 20 people in line behind us. Would suggest eating before going into Union Station. The entire experience at this place was terrible.
We hosted a child's birthday party here. The food was decent, and the decor is cute, but our guests waited over an hour for the food to arrive. The kitchen made our entire party's order in one batch, so lots of other people were taken care of before the food for our party was even started. Meanwhile we had to figure out how to entertain a dozen 5-year-olds in a small area. There was one cook and one person working the counter, and that's it. They were both working as hard as they could and I can't fault them, but the restaurant should not agree to host a birthday party if they cannot provide adequate staff for it.
The food wasn’t bad. However, there was one person working. He took orders, and then went in back and made food. He really did a good job, however the food took a long time. Then, he sold us drinks after already being told by another patron that the CO2 needed to be switched out on the dispensers. It’s y understaffed and not worth the price, or the wait.
