Came here for lunch and I got to sit upstairs with good view, I had the clam chowder it was a bit salty but still pretty good. I also tried their grilled shrimp that was cooked to perfection and not overly cooked. Their burgers can come with salad and it had really good strawberries in it. Definitely would come back again.
Marty was a fantastic server. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The food; incredible. I'd recommend this place 20/10 times. We will definitely be coming back here before the end of our trip and anytime we're in the area!
Amazing restuarant with amazing service and food. The Brie-zaa pizza was unique and full of flavor. Our server was awesome, and really made us feel like he could have been an old friend.
Wonderfully dog-friendly and kid-friendly dining in a relaxing and chill atmosphere. The expansive shaded patio area is a treat. Highly recommend the blue cheese burger. Service was ABOVE and BEYOND, everyone was really nice to our dog.
JD the bartender has the most amazing drinks. He made a Tennessee ten it was sweet by just right . Along with some other few other drinks on the menu . If you’re in McMinnville and need a good mixologist JD is the one to come to at 1882 Grille
This place is absolutely amazing! We stopped in thinking this would be a nice little stop for food, and were surprised to find that the 1882 Grille has an outdoor seating area on the 3rd floor of the building. The weather was good, so we chose to eat outside and the atmosphere was prefect. Our waiter, Joe, was incredibly friendly and helped us choose meals that we all loved. The fish and chips was cooked to perfection, the salmon club sandwich was amazing and, if you have kids that like mac'n'cheese, the mac'n'cheese was a hit with our daughter (although I think grown up kids would love it, too).
There's a great view from the 3rd floor, so opt to sit outside if the weather is pleasant when you visit. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
This place is fantastic! We went for a Saturday afternoon meal. They had an elevator to take you to the 3rd floor. We asked for outdoor seating and they quickly accommodated. Our waiter was very kind. My son got a root beer float and a cheeseburger. I got the 1882 pink drink, beet salad, and clam chowder. I wish I'd ordered the bowl of the clam chowder. I try the clam chowder at every place I go. This was by far one of the best I have ever had. It was stuffed with clams and potatoes. It was well worth the money. The restaurant is 3 1/2 hours from my house, and I would come up with an excuse to make the drive back for it.
If you find yourself in or driving through McMinnville, make a pitstop and try it. Parking is street parking.
The 1882 Grille is one of my favorite places to eat in McMinnville. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is simple and easy to understand.
The food is delicious. I have had the tavern burger in the past. During the latest visit, I enjoyed the 1882 Grille Burger.
The decor of the restaurant is a fusion of pioneer and industrial. The views from the second floor are very interesting.
