I have gone to many stylist over the years, found Ngoc almost by accident and so happy that I did.
Just this year she was out for several months and I had to go to someone else who was highly recommended, but to be honest, she does a much better job than this expensive recommendation in the City.
Maybe my hair is a little trickier because it’s kind of curly, but not extremely.
Not the cheapest haircut but definitely after several weeks after the haircut growing out I’m always grateful that I went to Ngoc! and 18/8
An amazing experience there with Susan as my hairdresser. She took care of me and almost made me fall asleep. I showed her some pictures to what I wanted to look like and she knew what she had to do and the result looks amazing ! Recommended a thousand times !!
I was very impressed with my experience with James because he had a real attention to detail in how he went about cutting my hair. He gave me a real nice haircut. He also gave a seriously effective and comforting neck massage at the end of the haircut. Between his precision in his approach and the quality of his haircut, I was able to relax. My only comment James is while the neck massage was great, the shoulder massage wasn’t very relaxing, as the poking and chopping got to a point of being a bit uncomfortable. Respectfully I would seek out some training for how to give a more relaxing shoulder massage. As for the shop, it was professional and welcoming. A little loud between the number of people getting talking in a close space and the type of music going, as it wasn’t the most relaxing experience as far as a higher end barber shop experience goes, but I certainly had a nice experience and likely would return.
In my 2 visits with one barber at this place, I got good haircuts but was the 30 min experience worth $80 plus a public request for tip, no, but I still recommend trying this place out.
Positives: Barber listens to your needs in the beginning, and haircut is not bad.
Negatives: Lack of attention to detail.
There are many barbers available at the place, one of them could be the right one for you.
UPDATE: No change in rating but another positive, they seem to care about feedback and improvements. They have a email feedback system where I gave a detailed feedback and I received a honest response.
I finally found my stylist! Have have been seeking a barber since moving here and everyone cuts my hair too short no matter what I ask. Susan was the first to listen and do it like I asked. She has an extra attention to detail and made me feel taken care of. Thank you!
Definitely a really good experience Definitely a more expensive, more experienced and trendier sports clips with good libations.
Due to timing, I have been to 2 different stylist and both of the really get my hair on a track after I messed it up pretty bad. Courtney did a great job fixing it and Kristina helped shape it more after.
It's definitely a bit more expensive than I'm used to. That said, it's a very friendly environment and good place for a man to keep kept up.

For the longest time it was hard to find a hairdresser who could cut my hair well. Jessica is the first to explain her process to me, backed up by years of experience. I found new and better products for my hair and a style that has me getting compliments left and right. Highly recommend you choose her!
Susan has given my two-year-old grandson at least four haircuts. She is superb! He is a squirming mildly uncooperative client. Susan manages to cut his hair with great results every time-efficiently and skillfully—while also navigating lollipops and Miss Rachel on the cellphone. She is amazing. We will be back.
