Best WLM Reviews
We ate twice here. We had both lunch and dinner and both we amazing. They do recommend reservations. We went to the hot springs on site prior to dinner and enjoyed it vwry much. They do have a nice shower facility with lockers and sauna. There are approx 7 pools that are all different temperatures. They also.have a swimming pool to cool off and chairs. The view surrounding the area is beautiful, relaxing and quiet. It would be nice to have some pool skimmers to clean out leaves and bugs or staffs to do more freq. Ot was very windy so there quite a bit of debri.
All the staff was friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance. The had a large menu with a good selection off apps, sandwiches, past, fish and steaks. The portions were large, we had lots of leftovers and were too full for dessert. We ended up taking apple cobbler togo after lunch.
We had their prime rib, steak sandwich with onion rings and sweet pot fries. Soo good. Tried a pork special app that had poppers in it!!! It was really a meal in it self!!! Prob the best app we have EVER had!!
For dinner Inhad chicken fett and my husband enjoyed a sausage pasta dish.
There was no crab in my seafood Mac n’ cheese, only prawns-even though it was mentioned in the menu. (The dish was bland and had no salt at all).
Sad because the dish was $30 and we chose to eat with this restaurant specifically because of the crab pasta.
Very disappointed and feel cheated.
First time here. Very good comfort food and plenty of it. Our server did an amazing job.
Fantastic Service!, Food and atmosphere was top notch! Prime Rib and Filet Mignon was amazing ,enjoyed every minute. Thank You!
It was a great experience, came here with my 9yr old and my mom. The views are beautiful. The service was really nice. The food was really tasty. Came here on a Tuesday at around 3PM for a late lunch. Had the artichoke spinach as a starter- it was really flavorful, had the steak sandwich with onion rings and 10/10 reccomend. My 9yr old had the kids mac n cheese he liked it. It packs less of a flavor punch but it's perfect to season with a little salt n pep at the table. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu- it lasted all of 5 seconds at the table.
Though they advertise that they are open for breakfast (everywhere including on their menus on Google and the QR codes in each of the hotel rooms), you cannot get breakfast here. The sign outside the restaurant says seating is limited, unsure why. Food is a little pricey but if you’re staying there, it’s convenient, and not bad. More veggie options would be great. In general the Holiday Inn David Walley Resort is a shadow of its former self. You get the sense that they are inadequately staffed everywhere you look. The grounds are unkempt, garbage cans were at the max, yet the location against the backdrop is beautiful. On a positive note, all the spas were functioning and clean - and for a spa, that matters.
Great area location. Restaurant used to have great food, but when new owners bought the resort and head chef left and temporary the sous chef is doing the cooking. That leaves questionable when a good chef will return. Rooms are nice but need updating. Great hot springs which are natural and a nice addition to the experience of this area. Historic area.
Not for vegetarian options except for fries, salads, and vegetarian pizza but no bean or plant based patty for a burger. The service was good and friendly.
