Best WLM Reviews
My husband and live in the neighborhood and enjoy going here for a date night. The food and service is excellent. We so enjoy it and took our adult daughter and her Boyfriend here when the came to visit us. They loved it as well.
5 stars are to few for the service and food . We always have a great time here.
Last night was our first night going to this restaurant and it was so good. We came back tonight and got the exact same thing except for drinks. I highly recommend the escargot. It is not your run-of-the-mill traditional escargot but it is amazingly delicious. I also highly recommend the pasta primavera with chicken. It is a pesto pasta with delicious fresh vegetables and a side of Italian style. Green beans. Service is excellent here both nights. Also the drink of the day is never a disappointment. Saturdays is a hippie juice and sundaes is a sangria. Both were delicious. We will be back. This will be our normal go-to when we come to Savannah.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 17 Hundred 90! The staff made us feel welcome and like family. We stayed in room 407. The food at their restaurant was absolutely stellar! Service was amazing. The waiters went out of their way to please us. Above and beyond legendary service! The hotel has relationships with various local businesses for neat discounts on excursions. Staff was most helpful in recommendations of what to do/see. We would love to come back again! Thank you for your home away from home experience!
I was on one of the local ghost tours and they sent us here to get drinks while we waited. The staff is so friendly and kind. The piano player was excellent. The whole atmosphere is lovely. What a beautiful dining room. In my many trips to Savannah, I am sad I haven't stopped in before.
This quaint Historic Inn Located in downtown Savannah is an excellent stop while you explore the historic district. Our server was awesome and provided us a lot of history and even some Paranormal history as well. The Inn has three known ghosts who are well know. Great place for drinks and a delicious dinner. Food was outstanding from start to finish.
Stayed the past 2 nights (11/29-12/1) in room 204. No interactions w/ Anna but excellent experience with the staff, “grumpy” was awesome.
Had dinner Friday evening, bone-in pork chop & lamb shank entrees. Phenomenal! The bread pudding dessert was 10/10! Parker was excellent as our server, friendly & attentive.
Great location: to the waterfront area, Forsythe Park and other Squares and sites are very walkable.
$15 per day parking also but you can walk anywhere or take a trolley.
For our 1st time to Savannah, we loved our decision to stay here. Definitely recommend.
Wonderful stay at the inn. Staff very friendly. Good parking. |We stayed in a room adjacent to the main property. It was full of character and we had the best sleep in the comfiest bed ever! |Grumpy (as mentioned in other reviews) is knowledgeable, friendly and answered any queries we had. Scott in the main bar was also very friendly and helpful. |My only complaint is that we couldn’t have stayed longer!
We went for dinner here last night my starter of oysters was delicious however my main dish of salmon I unfortunately could not eat as the crust was so salty. The room is lovely and we enjoyed the piano player however considering this is supposed to be a more upmarket restaurant the young lady who showed us to our table made no eye contact was not welcoming and she was very scruffily dressed in a scruffy long jumper and the condiments on the table (salt and pepper) were still in their plastic supermarket containers. The whole experience was just OK and not really worth the money
