Fantastic service from Brandi! All the staff were very friendly and helpful! The owner/manager leads by example and isn’t afraid to roll his sleeves up to get the job done!
We were visiting Florence for a day. My son had a soccer game and we wanted to get some awesome burgers nearby. This is an independent small business that seems to be very popular with local residents. We ordered two Daisy burgers with Pimento cheese and bacon , a house salad with grilled chicken, Frickles, and Fried Jalapeños. Every dish we had was amazing! Our only disappointment was that the Frickles and Fried Jalapeños had so much salt. Other than that, everything was perfect! Brandi was nice enough to make an adjustment to our bill for the heavily salted appetizers. We appreciate the kind gesture. Thank you! We will definitely be back to try out the other items on the menu on our next trip back to Florence!

Best thick burger you can get. So delicious and flavorful, cooked to perfection every time. The fries are amazing as well, and all the food comes out hot. Oh and theres awesome super mario decals on the walls i forgot to take a picture of.

Heading into Florence, we were originally going to hit a chain restaurant when I saw 1720’s Burger Bar. We went in with high expectations. It was a Friday night around 8. We had to wait to be seated even though there were open tables. Not a big deal. We ordered our drinks first… a water and a root beer. Out of root beer. Ok, no biggie. Drinks came and we ordered an appetizer… Tater Bombs. Out of tater bombs. Ok, we’ll just skip the app. We places our food order… the Wendy burger, and a cheeseburger quesadilla. When told the quesadilla didn’t come with a side, I asked for a side salad with ranch. We waited quite some time for our food, and was initially given someone else’s order. The host finally brought out our food, and placed the quesadilla burger down in front of me and I asked about my salad. He pointed to the small container of lettuce/tomato that was on the tray with the quesadilla and told me that was the salad… I thought it was a small side of shredded lettuce that went with the quesadilla. Nope. It was the salad… for $4.29! They should be ashamed of themselves! The quesadilla burger was completely underwhelming. A broken up burger patty inside of a very large tortilla with a very scant amount of cheese. It wasn’t worth eating. As for the Wendy burger, it really wasn’t that bad aside from the canned, slimy mushrooms. The french fries that came with the burger, did seem to be hand cut, but they were cold and not cooked all the way. We were never offered drink refills. Ketchup was empty, we were never given silverware..eventually had to hunt someone down to ask for some. When we left 1720s Burger bar, we actually went over to Chili’s and got an appetizer because we were still hungry from the food we did not get to eat at 1720s.. Extremely disappointed in our meal
As a person who doesn’t eat beef or pork I have to say 1702 Burger was right on time for me! I’m from Alabama and was here in South Carolina for a work trip. Upon my telling my waitress that I didn’t eat beef or pork she informed me that they also offered turkey burgers. I ordered the American ninja burger and man oh man, it did NOT disappoint! Not only that the bartender,Chanel, made a liquid marijuana that deserved a standing ovation! I definitely wish there was a location in my part of Alabama. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere!
We are passing through while doing a PCS move and decided to stop at this place based on decent reviews. Our Sprite was delicious, the fried pickles were great, and our server was very nice and accommodating. However, our whole family likes their burgers cooked medium and all of our burgers were overcooked. The fries were soggy and under seasoned. Even if we lived here I wouldn't come back to this restaurant.
Phenomenal food! The 1720 fries are a delicious appetizer to share. The burgers are well seasoned. The fries are fresh, delicious. and hand cut. The salads are fresh and crisp. Highly recommend. My only suggestion is that a gluten free bun would be nice. Perhaps a local bakery could collaborate or get some Carbonaut or Against the Grain gluten free buns for those of us who can’t have the wheat. (Please, please , no Udi’s buns.) I had my burger on a bed of lettuce, which is fine and thankfully the Wendy burger was good enough to stand on its on without a bun.
Brandi was our server and she was the best! The burgers are incredible. The fries are crispy with seasoning. Higly recommend the tater bombs! They are double the size of normal tater tots with cheese and bacon bits inside. They were delicious! Highly recommend this place!
The wait is worth the food. The male manager was great. It was nice to see him working the floor. He makes sure to run a tight ship.
