Beautiful restaurant with fabulous service. Jess and Oksana are ready assets to the team. Jess definitely has potential to be a manager in her career, very friendly, professional and forward thinking. Had 2 delicious 3 course dinners and 2 fantastic breakfasts. Too nice in fact, they made my clothes shrink ;) thank you all!
We spent the night at the DeVere Beaumont and didn’t really want to leave the estate to find a meal. We took advantage of their restaurant and were worried about the reviews we read online.
Our experience from arrival to end were great!! As a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (10yrs and 5yrs) we were warmly welcomed on our arrival by the friendly staff.
Quickly shown to our table, we were settled in nice and were given menus right away. The kids menu had a decent and fair choice of meals.
Staff were friendly and attentive at all moments. They interacted in a polite manner and always made the kids smile and feel welcome.
Nice choice of wines here. They were able to recommend a good accompaniment for the individual plates.
The kids meals were a good size for both ages. We did have to give my older son a little extra from our own plates but that was fine.
Food in general was good and had a nice fresh flavour to it all.
The large salads are big enough to enjoy as a meal.
The general ambiance and feel of the restaurant is smart but relaxed. It is nice to be able to have a place that kids are welcome to eat at.
Had a couple of nice meals here during my stay, both in the restaurant and in the bar area. Great atmosphere, good food with a nice variety of options on the menu, including some vegetarian options. Very friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant experience during both visits.
Nice, helpful staff. Good atmosphere and good food, reasonably priced - only slightly more expensive than a standard pub dinner. Portions descriptively large due to huge plates. If we lived nearby we’d be here all the time.
Preposterous service. This is a wannabe exclusive place.
Service staff have zero knowledge of hospitality. Shameful. Minus 11 stars. As a paying guest at the De vere Beaumont- shocked at how terrible the service is - staff are clueless. Ignored 3 times at the service bar, they had no idea if their restaurant was open and no idea how to make a Bloody Mary. The bar maid was busy chatting up a guest to take any notice of any other guest. Can’t rate rubbish.
Great meals with good vegan options , nice room and pleasant staff. Bar is a lovely room to relax in and good choice of beers and wine.
Just spent my second evening dining in this establishment. The food was reasonable, expensive for the quality, and I would have given it 3/ 4 stars but the service was diabolical! The female waitresses were lovely but the men really were absolutely clueless. Firstly I received my clam chowder without a spoon, the waiter said I'll get you a spoon and never saw him again...managed to get the attention of a waitress after 10 mins...just ridiculous!
The main arrived..."anything else madam?" Yes please the glass of wine I ordered...did it arrive? Nope!
Grumpily asked for the bill minus the wine, paid and will never go back. For a hotel that knows how to charge for food and drink this level of customer service is appalling. Therefore 2 stars only to reflect reasonable food and waitress...if she hadn't brought my spoon I'd still be sat there!????
I only had a drink In here so couldn't do.ent on the food. The bar was very nicely decorated, it had a separate area for dining it in my opinion, should have had a separate area for adults only as being in a hotel, there was a lot of kids in there, this isn't me being pompous as i was one of the people who had a child with them, just think the people who don't have kids staying with them should have a nice area to relax in without screaming kids. Prices were reasonable for a hotel bar and service was fast and polite.
