WOW WOW WOW. My sister and I visited 167 Raw upon recommendation on our visit from out of town. We originally were only supposed to grab apps and drinks but ended up staying for dinner! All I can say is that this meal will be engrained in my memory forever. Between the caviar bumps, oysters, crab dip, lobster roll and the finale- a blufin tuna tenderloin that was like BUTTER- it melts in your mouth. The portion size is worth the price as well. The ambiance was just as amazing as the food. We will absolutely be coming back next time we’re in town! Thank you for having us!
While out on the town my boyfriend and I stopped in here to grab dinner for a quick date night and it was wonderful???? The food quality is exceptional, the setting is very delightful, and the oysters are fabulous especially the selection from New Brunswick. A must have experience and definitely a must return, very satisfied. Pleasant and conversational bar staff as well.
Spoke with a few locals over the weekend in Charleston and they all recommended we go here. The short 30 min wait was worth it - great vibes and awesome food. You could pick from a variety of oysters from the East Coast, and they served them with a lemon basil mignonette that was out of this world - so much so we’re adding to our wedding menu. Awesome late afternoon snack esp if you’re shopping along King Street
The draw of this place is the food. Everyone in our party liked their food, including one of our party saying the comment, "this is the best salad I have ever had!".
The lobster roll was good, not incredible. The fish tacos, shrimp po' boy and king crab radiatori, and oysters were all very good.
The vibe is "date night", with good lighting.
The service is professional if a bit cold. Not what you would expect from a Southern establishment. The host felt a bit like a "door guy". They didn't refill the water and brought half the tables food early and we waited for the rest of the food.
We had a good experience, just could be a bit more friendly.
Wine! Oysters! Seafood! We absolutely loved 167 Raw Oyster Bar. This place gets rammed so reservations are required. If I'm ever in Charleston again this establishment will be at the top of my list! ????
Can you say OYSTERS??? Loved them. Fresh, nice size and plenty of selections. Enjoyed the Shrimp and Mushroom Toast special. The wine selections paired perfectly.
There are small “bars” in the rear. The back patio is covered with quiet fans is my favorite spot.
Our drinks were well made. The food was delicious. The oyster selection was good and they were fresh. Service was great.
Came here for an afternoon drink/lunch - amazing service, amazing playlist, amazing food. Chris is a fantastic bartender, absolutely love him.
The Hiramasa crudo was out of this world. Could’ve licked the plate clean. Also had the shrimp po boy, so so so delicious. Bread was so fresh, soft, buttery. I loved loved loved the passion fruit coquito. Would come everyday if I could.
