I was just looking for a barber shop and I realized this is the location I got yelled at. I was standing on the public sidewalk at night and some man through the window buffed his chest up and said keep it moving. I told him I was on the phone he said “I don’t care about all that” so I guess I don’t care about this comment. I knew it was a barber shop cuz the customer was getting a haircut inside.
Definitely was a threatening experience
Ps: stopping for one sec while im heading home to take a phone call on the sidewalk is not considered loitering. It was less than 30 seconds ????seems good though that you try trying to twist words and belittle people. What an abusive and theeating environment youre creating. Great job
I'm so in distraught ,the owner of the shop is so nasty, the way he handles kids and talk to women is ridiculous,I went in on a weekday busy work day to get my son a quick cut, I believe in great customer service,so the owner is usually sitting outside,he asked me if im a walk in with a nasty tone, I started to say nevermind, but was in a rush, he kept talking nasty to me and my son so I went off on him, he told me to shut up and get out his shop, a literal nightmare, plz do not support this business and he's black,my mom said next time record nasty business owners

Talib is a very friendly and nice 1st chair with a super cool “barbershop” pendant- he makes walking in a great experience.
I was in the area and needed a beard trim and am very happy I came in. Even though this isn’t near me, I will be ????% be making the trip here in the future.
Very reasonable & fair prices with superb service is the complete total barbershop package! Not only are they talented but they share tips n tricks, as well they have whatever grooming things you may need. Hopefully they have some tutorials/classes coming up to help us learn how to keep our look clean between appointments.

Talib has been my barber for over a decade, and I have never walked away dissatisfied. He provides a consistent quality service, and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Oh and I’m white.
Barbershop owner is rude and abrasive. Had an appointment with another barber and instead of being in the shop at the time of my appointment he sat in his car for 30 minutes and had me wait. Once he came back he asked me “You didn’t see me?” How about dont go sit in your car at the time you have an appointment. Owner basically screamed at me on the phone when calling for an appointment.
They also enjoy talking about things that are not appropriate for a barbershop. Seems to be a huge problem with black owned barbershops in general regarding their professionalism and attitude with their customers.
Got a great fade here from the owner, Talib. Friendly service and he was very patient with my feedback to get it just how I wanted. Better prices than what I've seen elsewhere, too.
When I moved to Philly I spent 4 months going to different barbershops around Cecil B Moore, and this is the best. The barbers here are clean and professional. It feels like a safe space and you can always count on getting a great haircut.
