Best WLM Reviews

My first time dining here was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was inviting, with a beautifully designed interior and exterior. Our waitress, Alexa, was exceptional—attentive. In the other hand the Host was a little careless with customer service.
We started with the crab cakes, which were good, though they could have used a bit more flavor. For the main course, we tried the popular hanger steak. While the dish was enjoyable, the portioning leaned heavily toward potatoes rather than steak. The potatoes were rich with butter and garlic, complementing the dish nicely. Overall, it was a good meal, though a bit more balance in the plate would have made it even better. Utensils also could’ve been cleaner but we had no issue getting new silverware.
Food and drink were phenomenal. I had the ribeye cooked medium rare. It was cooked to perfection and still had a very nice crust. The mashed potato was delightful, but the brocolini could have been cooked a tad longer. She had the short rib papardelle which was also phenomenal. Pasta cooked al dente. Sauce was great, short rib was also great. We had a variety of their specialty cocktails. All were top notch. I only leave one star off for atmosphere for 2 reasons, the restaurant is very loud with little sound buffering and the tables are very close together (out of necessity because of how busy they are). I whole heartedly recommend and will be back.
Came in with my boyfriend yesterday for lunch.
ATMOSPHERE: the place is obsoletely gorgeous. Stunning decor with a detail. Has a sweet outside seating as well as an extra room for parties indoors.
SERVICE: our server was nice, and very polite. Unfortunately, the food and check ins took so long….. soooo looong.
FOOD: I was not impressed at all. I think the best thing was the salad (summer bowl, I believe) Mussels were kind of tasteless. Ahi tuna was pretty good, but the salad that served on the side was very salty. The grilled octopus was pretty good, but majority of the dish is mashed potatoes; there weren’t much octopus. The little tomatoes on top of the dish were pretty delicious, with a nice kick to it.
Thank you for the experience.
Beware if you have a shellfish allergy!
My wife and I came here for dinner on November 13, 2024. That night, she had a horrific reaction to her meal - the kind of thing that only happens to her if she inadvertently consumes shellfish. Since we shared our meal and I did not experience the same effect, it must have been cross-contamination.
Although the ambiance of 151 is nice and the server was pleasant, the food itself was a misfire.
We split the Grilled Hanger Steak ($36) and the Cajun Chicken Sandwich ($18). Although we ordered the steak medium, it was excessively dry. The crispy potatoes were too greasy for my taste (it's possible they were prepared in the same oil as another table's seafood dish, which may account for the allergic reaction). I preferred the sandwich, but it, too, was overcooked and dry.
A sub-mediocre meal is one thing, but carelessness in the kitchen is something else. Nothing we ordered included shellfish, but I spent the night caring for my wife as she was doubled over in pain.
151 is not worth your dollar. Consider Modern Plate down the street for a superior dinner experience.
Great place with great food. Service was impeccable. We sat in a "booth" in the back, it was the best seat in the house.
YUM. This is my second time at this restaurant. Me and some friends went last year and loved it so much we had to come back! Food and drinks are amazing. Serving staff are superb. Atmosphere is chill and well designed. Definitely recommend.
Wanted to go out for drinks with my sister and we came here. We sat at the bar and the environment was great! We got drinks that were so pretty and delicious. Got an order of the buns appetizer each and wish I had an infinite amount of them. Would definitely be back! Also had the mac & cheese and bread w/ butter but I preferred the pork belly buns 10000x
Very modern design and fancy looking place! First time being here, had few great cocktails. Octopus was tender and spiced perfectly, brussels sprouts were chared to much for my taste, I got bitter taste from it, other people at table liked it though.. Shrimp bowl was fantastic presentation and very healthy meal. Cookie with ice cream was amazing, perfect amount of sugar, butter and it was soft and warm so it went great with ice cream, will come back to this place to try other stuff.
