Best WLM Reviews
Such a beautiful restaurant!! My second time there. I had the Ginger Salmon Salad and it was delicious and huge!! For dessert, we shared the chocolate cake and it was THE BEST cake I have ever had!! It was delicious, but not overly sweet or too rich. Our waiter, Josh, was attentive and very kind and professional!! A wonderful experience and I will be back!!
“It was a terrible and frustrated experience”
I organized a bridal shower for my Dougter in Law October 26 at 150 sunset Event Center and was deeply disappointed. The waitstaff never approached us to offer coffee or tea just one time. They just showed up to serve the food nothing else we had to stand up and look for them to Ask for something. The self-serve mimosa station was not prepared, l signed a contract that said serve self mimosas not that l have to make them !!! me as an organizer l had to prepare them and I ended up serving the guests myself. When I asked the manager to help me and prepare the mimosas for an extra cost, she rudely responded that none were available and she could show me how to make them !! For that, l can do it at my house. I have photos and videos to support my claims. Overall, an unprofessional and disappointing experience.” Not recommend them at all!!
My husband and I had brunch on Sunday. We were happy to know they served brunch all day ???? This is a very nice and cozy restaurant. The food was very good. I had the shredded pork hash and my husband had the house breakfast. We ordered the brunch fries as an appetizer but it came with the meal. The total for the food plus two coffees was $65. Overall it was a nice brunch but for me a tad on the pricey side.
Loved the decor. And the food was amazing. But the dishes we tried were in need of some much needed “ pazzazz” as they were really bland. The brunch fries were a definite 10/10 and made me leave one of my main dishes completely alone. They were great and the French toast was probably some of the best ever had in the city. Overall I would recommend.
Went here in April 2024 for an anniversary brunch. The atmosphere and ambiance was lovely. The service decent. The food, a let down. I ordered the Monte Cristo with a salad. The sandwich was the absolute cheapest Monte Cristo I've ever tasted, and I've had them in many different regions, but this was the worst. The ham, which was a single thinly sliced luncheon meat you get from out of a pack in the grocery store was lost in the thick dry bread and minimum cheese. It was barely dusted with the powder. The flavor of it was bearable. The salad was skimpy and the house dressing was lackluster to say the least. The mimosa was cold, but no fizzle. My party didn't even finish their sandwich as it was dry as well. We were very disappointed overall, paid out check and left. Being a former restaurant developer, I would advise prospective owners to never include "fancy" dishes on your menu if you're not going to prepare them properly and charge as if you're doing so.
It’s a little tucked away so not easily recognizable as a restaurant. I had the shaved ribeye sandwich, my friends had the avocado toast and Turkey club. All meals looked and tasted appetizing. The made-fresh bread for the sandwich was amazing.
Seating was plentiful, bathroom was clean, waitstaff were on task. Overall a great first impression, no downside as I can see. Stop on in for great food and a pleasing atmosphere. Thank you, Rob:)
The food here is amazing! I had the croquet madam, and my partner had the berry french toast. They were perfect! We also had the brunch fries, and that's almost a meal in itself, highly recommend them! Wait staff was a little slow, but it was Saturday morning brunch, and packed, so I wasn't surprised.
I did find their coffee offerings to be a little lackluster, but it was good. I just would have liked to add something like hazelnut syrup to my latte.
Overall, wonderful place, will absolutely be back!
We had stopped coming here for breakfast months back. I happened to be in the area and decided to give them another try. I noticed new staff as soon as I walked in and nothing compared to the prior staff. The greeting, introduction, and the taking the order of drinks and food was awesome. My order was served as instructed. The staff and my server dropped by my table several times during my meal. asking if I required anything. It was not just my table that I saw this but in every table that was occupied. The 150 Sunset omelet and French press that I had would not disappoint anyone.
