The food was okay. Except, my mother got the chicken wings and fries and the fries were cold when they were brought out. The waitress took our order, delivered our food and never came back. We had to find her just to pay our bill. It was during the day and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I can't imagine what the service would be like on a Friday or Saturday night.????
This was a nice venue on the West Bank of the Flats to partake in. We went on a Saturday evening that was busy in all locations in the area. Our service was good, but I think that they were a bit overwhelmed by how much traffic they were managing. The food was cooked amazingly well! I enjoyed, also, the portions. The ambiance was great, being able to sit by the water with a sunset taking place. We will hopefully make a return visit (maybe at a less busier time) and try out some of the other menu options.
This is one of those places you walk in and you stop at the door and awkwardly look around... do you seat yourself, do you wait for somebody to seat you? We were eventually politely greeted and told to sit anywhere. There were 4 seated tables and two tables that needed to be bussed. Of course, one of those was a table we wanted because it was by a window so we could see the water.
There were two obvious female servers, based on their all black uniform. There were two other male "employees" wearing street clothes that would sit down at a table with someone, drink and talk, and then get up and help out here and there, and then sit down again. It didn't seem professional and was off-putting.
The food and drinks were good, but a little pricey for what they were. My partner ordered the Prime Steak Sammie, and they brought out the New York Strip, twice as expensive. The waitress apologized and asked us if we were ok with waiting for the correct order, which we said was fine. There wasn't anything offered for the wrong entree or extra wait, which would have been appreciated.
I don't feel the need to go back, nor would I necessarily recommend it. I rated it 4 stars instead of 3 for the benefit of the doubt because I didn't have a terrible experience. Overall, the vibe was interesting. I couldn't decide if it was supposed to have a lounge, sports bar, or a family friendly vibe.
I am the owner of Vladikman1 Studio LLC focusing on weddings and special events. We have visited this restaurant to celebrate an event as well as celebrate anevercerie. We were surprised by Joe. He was on top of the service and checked on us every step of the way. We have recived a dish containing pork and when they found out that I am elergic they fixed it in the matter of seconds. When Joe saw us taking mixture of eachother he was right there to take one for us to make sure that we will have memories to cherish. Outdoors there was a concert playing and he also helped us move to enjoy the water and the sound of the concert. Wanted to say that it was a pleasure to be there and thank you all for everything. Hope to make friendships in the future with you guys. We will definitely be back :)
Went down here with a friend and loved my experience. The staff was amazing, very attentive, and friendly. We sat on the patio, and the views over the river were very pretty. Food and drinks were great! I got the lambchops with a mother goose drink - highly recommend
The is an amazing venue with an awesome staff!! Chef Zeek hit it out of the park!! We had a rehearsal dinner there on the back deck overlooking the river and it was incredible. The food was not only delicious it was beautiful and plenty of it. I highly recommend the lamb chops, so good!! If you like sushi, go on Friday or Saturday night when the sushi chef is there, you will not be disappointed. Chef Zeek worked with me every step of the way to make a perfect event for the happy couple, I can’t thank him enough for all he did.
This restaurant almost ruined my birthday last night. Don’t be 5 min late to your reservation they’ll call you and cancel. Very unprofessional on the phone this restaurant called us to make sure that we were not going to be late which is odd. We told them 8:50 the latest due to parking. Our dinner reservation was at 8:45 and they called us a second time at 8:50 asking us if we already knew what we wanted as if they wanted us to place all of our orders over the phone and that their kitchen was about to close. Your website says 9:45 for kitchen closing time!! We had just all parked in a nearby lot and were walking to the restaurant at exactly 8:50. Who would’ve thought that being five minutes late, they would cancel a reservation even after stating that we were close. It would’ve been 2 more minutes max of walking. My assumption is they were either trying to leave early or they gave someone else our reservation. Most restaurants give a 10 to 15 minute grace on reservations, but not with this one and she was extremely rude on the phone. We decided to go to Sora , the accommodated us quickly and customer service was great.
Me & a friend of mine went for dinner two nights ago and tried the lamb chop dinner. We were visiting from out of town and thought we would give it a try.
It was nice, but we ended up spending a lot of time waiting for a waitress or bartender to get some help after we ordered our food. We had to ask 2 times for someone to help us check out so we left later than expected. ( we ate at the bar & there wasn’t very many people there).
My friend wrote out a tip on her slip and I gave her some cash so we should’ve been fine.
TODAY I WOKE UP TO AN EXTRA TIP TAKEN OFF OF MY CARD.
It was $8 specifically. I do not know who is responsible for that but there was two of us - not a party of us. So it should not have happened.
Either way it goes… you may not want to use your card here. Bring some cash.
