Had the best dinner experience tonight!! We did not have a reservation (on a Saturday night no less) but was seated, right away. Beautiful ambiance and elegant atmosphere we were so lucky to get the best service. Jennifer was AMAZING!! She was so fun and helpful, explaining the specials and answering every question (I had to know about everything)!! She was honest and straight up, making sure we were happy, full, and always had beverages!
Food and drinks were excellent! Had to document this meal, and it was worth every penny!
It was our first time here, and we were already talking about what to get next time! Highly recommend for a great evening!
Jennifer even ran out to the parking lot looking for us with my cell phone I left on the table! She really cares and it's great at her job!! Will be back and will make sure she is as well!
Dined at 131 Main recently to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about this place was top notch! We were seated right when we arrived (we also had a reservation) and Lane was our server. He was great the whole night. We started with a drink order of a Lemon Drop and a glass of Riesling. Both were great. We then had the cornbread appetizer and this was some of the best cornbread we have had. The honey that comes with it was the best! For main entrees, we ordered the Top Chop Salad along with the Cedar Plank Salmon. Both dishes were fabulous and tasted great. We even got a Brownie a la Mode for dessert which was wonderful. We would highly recommend coming to 131 Main for a great time!
Highly recommend. Had to try this place since the reviews were so good. Everything was fresh and grilled perfectly. Some of the dishes had nice spice on it as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
For starters, we had their cornbread. Cornbread was delightful with pieces of corn and jalapeños inside. Outside was firm with a soft middle. Although not my favorite, we still enjoyed it. We ordered the baby back ribs which came with shoe string fries and a peanut coleslaw and we also ordered the blackened chicken pasta. I'll start with the coleslaw. I never would have thought to put peanuts on a coleslaw but the way the coleslaw is made paired well with the peanuts. It is more savory than sweet which I like and portion is a good size. The shoe string fries were fresh, perfectly seasoned with salt. The ribs...???? fall off the bone perfection! They were juciy tender and the BBQ sauce was good. Well rounded flavor. The pasta looked so delicious I was a little jealous I didn't get that so I had to try it. Well, it tasted just as it looked. It had a little bit of a spiciness to it but very very light. The sauce was creamy and balanced the pasta and chicken well. The broccoli and bell peppers brought it all together along with the seasoning. I will have to return to order it for myself next time. I enjoyed every bite I took of my food. Atmosphere was very nice with a mixture of couples large parties and families enjoying dinner. Our waitress was nice and helpful as well as attentive. As other servers walked by they'd stop to pick up the empty splenda packets to keep our table clean. Overall we had a great experience enjoyed our dinner and will certainly go back.
We went here after a long day in the office. We waited 30 mins for the table, exactly as we were told. Chicago steak was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices are ok, considering the quality.
In town visiting friends and they took us here. They love coming here and I’ll say we can see why. The steak was excellent and so was the drinks and apps. Highly recommended
Sheryl was an Awesome server. Just messed up on our receipt. Two of us ordered appetizers. We specifically said make sure you put on my order. She split the 2 appetizers, amongst the 5 of us for each appetizer. The food was great, well seasoned, good presentation, and delicious. We were celebrating a friend Birthday. Loved the Birthday cake from the restaurant. Overall, Great Experience! Professional customer service from all servers who worked together as a team.
Food was very tasty. The steaks are very very over priced, as steak typically is in chains going for a white table cloth feel. Ribs and shrimp and grits are better value. Highly recommend the cornbread skillet with drizzled honey.
It's extremely dark in the restaurant, needlessly to a point, which detracts from the presentation of the food against the contrast of the table cloth and your drinks. Additionally, it's difficult to see your wait staff. Over head lights would be better than fake table candles.
The restaurant can be very busy, and attracts a pretentious customer base , but don't feel as if you have to dress up. It's fine dining, but it is by no means fancy.
Finally, one of the wait staff, Ethan, was very robotic, only speaking in a memorized script. Encourage him to ease up. The pressure is very low
