Took an adult family member here for his birthday. This was not my first visit, but it had been quite a couple of years. The atmosphere is very nice. Restrooms are clean and spacious. The food was excellent, as expected. However, for the price, I would expect a little higher level of service. We had reservations, but still had to wait 10-15. It was a cold, blustery day, yet we were seated right by the door, which was opened frequently. There were plenty of other open tables, and as mentioned, we had reservations. Surely send consideration could be given. Staff were friendly overall, but we did not feel like a priority.
The food here is always fresh and quality. The appetizer section could be more. It feels like it’s missing something. Fish, corn bread, or basic overpriced salsa/guac and chips. Lame. Other than that, everything on the menu is great. It’s a good place to come for a special occasion or date. I didn’t love the chicken dish. The salads are all bomb. My family always gets to salmon. Get the banana dessert.

My Caesar salad was perfect! The croutons are soft and sweet.
The club is my go-to, (I really should try something else), but dipped in the honey mustard and the garlic dressing makes a delicious sandwich!
If I could eat here once a week, I would!
Probably the best ribeye (soy and pineapple marinated) I've ever had at a restaurant. Got the special which came with a thick, meaty crab cake. Red smashed potatoes on the side and a wedge salad. Everything was fantastic. The service was great too. $90 bucks on the meal. You get what you pay for!
Wonderful food and great staff. Any issue or request is promptly served. Food today was perfect and our waiter and the staff all ensured we wanted for nothing. Expect a pleasant atmosphere and no loud music to appreciate your conversations with your dining partners! Management is “A” No. 1!!!
Another very good meal. Tonight, I had the ribs with fries & slaw. The ribs were very tender & flavorful. I loved the shoe-string fries. And Jordan was a great server! I also had the cornbread appetizer. A bit more sweet and tender than a traditional cornbread, but still good.
We went here for our 4 year anniversary, and Asia made our night feel so special! Everyone on staff wished us a happy anniversary and we even got a free dessert?? This place is truly unmatched, best service we’ve received by far in Asheville. Food was terrific, salmon was perfect and the cornbread is a must. I never leave reviews but had to for such an amazing dinner!
Our server was phenomenal and honest. He gave thorough reviews for every dish I asked about and did so with knowledge and humor. He encouraged us to try the crab cakes and he was 100% right to do so! They are meat filled, fresh, and are so delicious that two of my companions got some to go. The chili was just alright but the chicken pasta I ordered was AMAZING. It’s a large portion, very fresh, well seasoned and has a small kick to it. As an out of towner, I’ll definitely come back!
