Best WLM Reviews
This little Italian place is a hidden gem for small towns, and I highly recommend it if you’re driving to the coast! I’m so glad I found it and stopped by. It has a relaxed wine-bar vibe with an Italian feel, which was perfect and refreshing after a long drive.
They offer a great selection of wines, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful in choosing wines that paired well with my meal. The restaurant specializes in pastas and pizzas. Based on reviews, I originally planned to try their pizza, but my server convinced me to go with a pasta dish instead. Overall, the pasta was okay—good but not incredible. I have a feeling the pizza would have been better, but I’m still glad I gave the pasta a try, and it paired nicely with the wine.
For me, atmosphere is just as important as food, if not more, because I want a place where I can relax, have a good time, and chat with the staff. This restaurant definitely delivers on that front. It’s almost a five-star experience for me, but I’ll give it a four because the pasta didn’t quite wow me.
One downside, especially for business travelers, is that they don’t accept American Express, which was a significant inconvenience. I had to use my personal card, which added unnecessary stress. I really hope they can address this in the future.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would love to stop by every time I’m passing through!
Food was alright.
The servicer was very nice.
I find it very weird they have people standing and waiting for up to 40 minutes outside for a table and do not allow them to check-in or stand anywhere other than by the outdoor seating.
I got the build your own pizza and it wasn't that hot when it arrived so I was unable to finish it before it got cold.
My boyfriend got the 1285 burger and said it had flavors but wasn't cooked hot enough and the quality of meat was not there.
The Mac and Cheese is not worth the $20 and really wish they had a half portion. The ceaser salad was huge and well made!
Will definitely return to try other items.
The staff also was friendly to my dogs and that was appreciated. Many other dogs were seated outside with their people as well.
We love this little place in Florence. The wait is worth it. It is a small setting but romantic and bustling. Hubby ordered a Pistachio liquor and it was really good. The ahi tuna salad was perfect and not overcooked. The chicken parm was a large portion, enough for 2. The fish was perfect, too.
The food is epic! The wait on how long till you get your food was so worth it! I did wait a long time to be waited to just see a menu, but I was okay with that once I tasted the amazing food. I ordered an appetizer of scallops and the flavors of the food was amazing! I also ordered crab ravioli in Alfredo sauce and it was the best I ever had! The waiter was not very good. He lacked people skills.
We stumbled upon this restaurant, and boy, were we glad. There's a warm, welcoming feeling about the place. Our waitress Laura did an exceptional job, was super nice too, even joked around with us.
The food was delicious!! Everything was prepared just right.
Don't miss out on this restaurant, you won't regret it.
“I don’t think this place is a recommended restaurant. The prices are higher compared to other places, and despite the rarity in the area, the food doesn’t live up to the wait. The pasta was overcooked, and even the simplest mussel dish lacked flavor relative to the ingredients. Additionally, they charged an extra $2.00 for credit card payments, and the beer service was poorly managed. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.”
Don’t order clam chowder soup , it was terrible
We stopped by for lunch and there were a several people outside waiting. We stood there for a bit and no hostess around to ask how long the wait is. We were hungry so we went somewhere else. We wanted to try the food there, so we went back the next day and it didn’t take as long for a hostess to seat us, but despite it not being too busy at the time, it took awhile to get a server. People who came in after us were served faster by someone else. Apparently there was confusion who was on rotation to take our table. I ordered the manicotti and my son ordered lobster(?) ravioli. These items are served in a bowl which makes it difficult to eat. Both dishes were good, just odd to eat in a bowl. Sauce was somewhat soupy.
I ordered the pistachio cocktail that has “secret” ingredients. It was just okay. Nothing spectacular. Seems a popular restaurant in the area, but wasn’t our favorite or best dining experience.
Delicious ahi tuna appetizer, scrumptious seafood pasta, creamy melt-in-your-mouth crem brulee. Atmosphere only subpar as we were seated in the very back room on plastic chairs w/ a tiny, tippy table, which prevented us from ordering a bottle of wine, but the food was delicious.
