12 Volt is an interesting place to say the least. Cheap drinks (although not very good cocktails), pool table, and darts are the upside. Overserved patrons harassing the bartenders and fellow patrons, some of the worst cocktails I've ever had, and some rude bartenders are the downside. If you're looking for a rowdy night out, there are better places to go but if you're not willing to move from the Olde Town Arvada area, 12 Volt is your only option. The cherry on top is the owner who replies to all negative reviews with sass and a “we can do nothing wrong” attitude ????????
Most racist place you can imagine for a black person,first bar in Colorado I attended,and was made clear i was black. As you can see from the terminology that they use like moron it is very clear to see racism bigotry being implemented threw your terminology.. I promise anyone that thinks that I’m lying please attend this bar and do a review before you even walk up to the door. You can feel the racism vibes.(ps ) when he uses the word maroons, he is definitely talking about white people, but the fact that the one black person was in that group gave them such a hard on to be racist that this establishment is not worth going to for anyone who is a real person.
Worst bar in Arvada. Bartenders judge you when you walk in. Not welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend. Go to cheapskates instead. You won’t regret it.
Tipped well. Not being a problem. Sprayed in the face with Febreze and then by water bottle by bartender because wrongfully accused of farting. Admittedly funny on paper, terrible business. Disgruntled bartender was having a bad night. Blonde girl with black glasses and black sweat suit. Keep your problems at home. Was not vaping. That was the person next to me and the bartender knew that.
Classic dive bar in the heart of olde town. Cheap drinks and great vibes.
I was asked to leave with no inappropriate behavior on my part. Out of nowhere. This was an extremely bad service experience. I was not drunk. I walked in and said hello to people I knew. I was talking to two men at the bar. I wasn't even ordering any drinks. Then I was asked to leave out of the blue. This was very strange and I do not recommend going to this bar.
Best dive bar in Olde Town Arvada. Ruthie, Megan, Kristina and Amber are all great. If you in the mood for a dive bar that is chill stop by. You cannot go wrong
This has to be the best bar in Old Town Arvada. I can't name many other bars you can just chill outside drinking. Indoor atmosphere was just like a typical dive bar but...cozy. Lots of regulars there the night I went. I will probably become one.
