Came in a little close to closing time. Cashier was very helpful on placing our order since this was our first visit to this establishment. Menu was simple yet delicious. Sweet potatoes (blended) were a little “baby food” bland and the rack ribs a little on the dry side, and definitely not “fall off the bone” status but flavorful nonetheless. The BLT was great and the corn soufflé was the BEST part of the meal. I would suggest going during peak hours to get the food quality. We would still visit here again.
The food was not up to par today. $50 2 people…ribs and 2 sides each. The ribs were over cooked and dried out, actually seemed a little burnt. The damn good corn pudding was dry and horrible. Bake beans dry and potato salad has a weird taste! Will not be back and will not recommend!
Ribs were ok but turkey sandwich to my surprise was delicious. Sides were ok too. We didn’t get to try brisket because they don’t serve it Tuesdays.
I didn’t like the plates they served food in. Plate moved when I was trying to cut my sandwich and it looked like a dog’s bowl ????The interior of the place feels like a place for a party of friends to hang out. Not cozy.
Delicious bbq joint in Arden, NC - just south of Asheville. Fantastic ribs, brisket, pulled pork; great assortment of side dishes. Terrific selection of beer on tap, casual dining, friendly staff and overall cool vibes! Be sure to go home with some of their world class bbq sauces and dry rub. If you love barbecue, this 12 Bones is a must!!
Have loved all of the 12 Bones restaurants since the original on the river. This visit I had the ribs with the signature Blueberry Chipotle sauce. Also had the Corn Pudding, which never fails to satisfy. It's one of the few places I know of that offers Cheerwine, RC, and Diet Rite colas from the fountain! The brewery is awesome, too, but deserves a separate review! A GREAT place for "people watching"! If you're working on a Sociology degree, this is the place for you...
Skippable, average bbq. The sauces were good, but that's the only memorable part. The ribs were tough and all the sides were bland and tasted like they came from a can.
Spent a week at Fontana Dam area. They're in the process of renovation. Some cabins were great others in need of repair. No wifi inside most of the cabins, tv didn't work. No internet at all or using phone to make calls.
We had a great meal after floating. Really nice Brewery 5 miles from Zen tubing south. The English pub beer was really good and the bbq offerings and sides were excellent! Hogzilla and Ribs - delish!
