I have been meaning to try this place out for at least a year so I was excited to be close by so I gave it a go. The food has a lot of potential. I'll start by saying my fiance got the chopped fish sub, and that was really good. I wouldn't mind getting it again. My salmon ceasar sub left quite a bit to be desired. This sub has the potential to be like that. The bread was nice and fresh, but the salmon was overcooked to the point of outright dryness. The shrimp that was on looked overcooked, old, and rewarmed. They chopped what seems to be about 2 or 3 shrimp at most up. I'm not sure if cutting the shrimp up is their normal practice or if it was done to try and mask the fact that the shrimp were in bad shape. It was like chewing on a rubber toy vice a piece of food. Honestly, it might help if they cook the salmon about 5 min less and then toss all the ingredients in the ceasar dressing so that it's evenly distributed. Lastly, I got the chopped turkey sub with turkey bacon and shrimp. This sub was actually really good minus the awful overcooked, rewarmed shrimp once again. I gave it 3 stars because at least one of the 3 subs we tried was good. And the guy behind the counter seemed cool enough.
My friend and I Drove 30 minutes to come try Cafe 1137 and we didn’t regret it all. I had the Chopped Whiting Sub with fries and Honey Old Bay wings (not picture) The sandwich itself was huge and I definitely couldn’t finish it all in one setting. It was so amazing and whatever sauce the put on it was really good. The fries were great and the wings were amazing. I ate them during the car ride home because I couldn’t wait lol. I def would come back. Worth the drive. I got all the food for about $25, very affordable.

Me and my boyfriend tried this place. 10/10. He got the Salmon Cesar Salad and a Strawberry Cheesecake Cup, while I got the BBQ Wings, Garlic and herb rice, Sweet Potato Cheesecake Cup with a passion Fruit Lemonade???? My boyfriend ate his food too quick but here’s quick video of mine. I’m a bbq sauce lover and they got this bbq sauce down pack????❤️ I can’t wait to try again
I wish they put the entire description of what's in every plate on their website when you go to order. I ordered a shrimp platter thinking I'm getting shrimp and fries like I would anywhere else. I got 6 shrimp and a dairy sauce over a bed of rice. I wouldn't have picked this item if I knew it had dairy in it or didn't come as a traditional platter with a decent amount of shrimp and fries. The descriptions for something you're ordering should describe everything that's going to be on your plate. how else do you know what you're ordering??
I been going to this restaurant for years now. It’s clean and the people there are great. You will see the own a lot of times and he is help and kind to everyone. He built a great team of employees I never had bad service whatsoever so ever. Now the food ???????????????????????? you will be amazed I have had everything on the menu lol and because I work a lot I at least get 3 platters to go. My favorite is everything ! From the shrimp, salmon, lamb, crab cakes and sandwiches you will be craving more. The one thing I can’t wait to try again is the stuff salmon I won’t lie I only and maybe two bites off of a friends plate and I literally should have taken her plate lol I love this place I’m actually heading up there later today! True it trust me nothing out here like it !
My daughter and I came here for lunch today from PG County. I ordered the crab cake platter. My daughter ordered the salmon caesar sub. Both dishes were tasty. What bothered me about the experience with coming here was the lady at the register told us we had to wait outside but 3 guys came in right after us, ordered food and was not told the same thing. They were able to wait inside. Then as I was outside, I watched 2 more people go inside and they were able to wait inside as well. So 5 people were in the store waiting and we were the only ones asked to leave. I will not be back because of this. We paid $90 for those 2 meals and a dessert. There was not an option for dine in.
All my good Baltimore folks have hit this seafood spot. So naturally I started following them. Imagine seeing this delectable looking food all up, and down your timeline…constantly!! Today it was my turn!! Let’s GO!!

Their Chopped Turkey Shrimp Sub (with seasoned ground turkey, turkey bacon, shrimp, fried onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, special sauce, & sour cream ranch @officialrapsnacks $17.99). STAMP!! Enough to feed a couple folks, well seasoned turkey, cheesy, just surprisingly delicious!!
Their Chopped Fish Sub (with fried whiting, and all aforementioned toppings $15.99). LIKE THAT!! Again…HUGE!! Tasty, crispy fish, but eat this fast!!
Their Passionfruit Lemonade ($3.99). STAMP!! Not overly sweet, with real fruit in it…completely refreshing!!
Their Fried Chicken Platter with Fried Shrimp (with garlic herb rice, sweet spicy corn, lump crab meat, shrimp-$12, & special sauce $25.99). STAMP!! GET THIS!! It was a layer of lump crab at the bottom, with that tasty rice, well fried chicken, & jumbo fried shrimp!!
Their Apple Cheesecake (from @odessabakery $9.99). STAMP!! Rich, thick, shareable…GET IT!!
