We went out for dinner, I ordered baked cod with 1/2 110 salad and my wife ordered tomato soup and a wedge salad. Everything was delicious, except the tomato soup, which was candy-sweet. We came to find out that part of their recipe for the soup is brown sugar. Unfortunately there was far too much brown sugar in it. Happily, they were willing to replace it with clam chowder, so we both ended up with a terrific meal.
I appreciate the fact that this place has good options for everyone, but the service was super slow even though it wasn’t very busy. Food was fine, I would maybe revisit on a busier night to see what it’s like then.
We probably won't go back. Was it good? Yeah, but charging an extra $7 for a side salads to replace 1 of the 2 starch/veg sides and have it come out with the meal (on the same plate) seemed like poor form, especially when all three of us ordered salads. I don't mind paying for the salad, but give me time to enjoy it.
The meats (ribeye, swordfish & salmon) were all cooked perfectly. The ambiance was nice... though the booths were very tight.
The server was the saving grace, very attentive & personable, but I was annoyed that when signing up for the rewards program (as she suggested) the dessert was not comp-ed this time, as advertised, she said a manager 'fixed it' so we had it for next time.... but the bill was $210 for just 1 Baileys & coffee, 2 ice teas, no appetizers with dinner for 3 people ($21 for small cups of salads) and the sorbet (which should have been free with the sign up for rewards) I think I'd rather go else where.
Usually, the experience is worth the cost.... but something just didn't hit the mark. Maybe my expectations were too high? I had read a lot of good things about 110. Maybe it was an off night?
High note: the lemon sorbet with blueberry sauce was wonderful
Well, if you are looking for over priced food, small portions, a 40 minute wait for food in a nearly empty restaurant, then this is the place for you! Thought we would stop in for a late lunch today. The place was not busy at all. There was plenty of staff; they just preferred to chat with each other rather than wait on the few customers that were there. The food took literally forty minutes to come. The roll for the steak sandwich was very small (slightly bigger than a hot dog roll) and there was hardly any steak in it ($18) The side of fries came out much later than the sandwich. The vegetable stir fry came out and was cold, they took it back and it came back warm at best ($19). The prices were way over the top for the food that was served. The staff was present, just not with the customers. We will not be returning.
Me and my partner went out for dinner for our anniversary. It was a great dining experience. The food was great, cooked to perfection. The New York steak was cooked according to our liking. What I like the place is the ambiance and the location. The service also was excellent and exceeded our expectation. Thanks to our server that night, he attends to our every needs in a very professional, fast and efficient manner. Staff there are awesome.
I haven't been to a 110 Grill that I didn't like (no, you do not need to have your eyes [or ears, if this is being read to you] examined...I really did just infere that this restaurant was a chain!). The food is just different enough for me to feel that slight twinge of pretentiousness (you know what I mean, that place where arrogance wants to reside but the right amount of actual humility prevents it) yet still recognizable enough for me not to be concerned about "what" it actually is.
Our server, Alexis, served us about a year prior and recognized us! Now, I'm not yet fully convinced whether it was because she is just that amazing, or if we are just that memorable - since it wasn't discussed until the end of the meal, I am going to assume the scales tipped just slightly towards the former.
My guests were 3 young ladies, one is my actual daughter, one is a local who has adopted me as her pseudo-dad, and one was a good friend of my daughters. We always start with dessert (why run out of room before the good stuff, right?), but kept it lighter this time. At the table was a Caesar salad, grilled cheese with tomato soup, and an apricot risotto.
I had the Artichoke-Spinich dip, a classic appetizer, yet it did not come in its typical bread bowel....disappointing.
Overall....always an amazing experience. It's worth every penny, and I am very much excited to save up those pennies to go back again. But I will leave you with 2...let's call them suggestions...as to how to improve your dining experience:
1. Desert first. It's not just to shove more sugar down your throat...you will create an experience that will be remembered for longer than any typical nite-out dinner (make it a tradition and watch the excitement grow).
2. Tip your server. Yeah, I know, we all do. But the way I look at it (which does account a bit for why my family can not go out as much), this person is the only one working harder than you to help creat the best experience....but they will (almost) never see you again. Talk to them. The more you interact, the more they will do for you. They are (again, almost) all amazing people.....tip them.
Last time we will be ordering food from here. Did an online order for pickup at 6:30. Show up and are told 10 more minutes till it was ready. 6:45 and told again 10 more minutes. It took them till 7:12 bring out the order…. 40 minutes past the pickup time. Get home and the the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered the gluten free pulled pork Mac and cheese and there was almost no cheese on the Mac and cheese? The pulled pork also had no bbq sauce or ranch on top like it should have. My daughter got the kids grill cheese and took one bite before showing me an almost empty sandwich with 2 slices of unmelted cheese…. Like are you kidding me? There is no way they threw cheese on one side of the bread and thought that ok. We have had problems with this location before but to pay around $75 plus tip to have horrible food and service is just not worth giving them any more chances.
I recently had dinner here and it didn’t disappoint. The menu has a lot of variety, so there’s something for everyone. I went with the buffalo chicken flatbread, and it was really good, perfect balance for my taste ????.
The atmosphere is casual but still feels a little upscale, which is nice if you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe with good food. The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in just enough without being overbearing. And if you’ve got dietary restrictions, they’ve got plenty of options, which is awesome. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
