Best WLM Reviews
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch—I'm very particular, so I even disinfected, and there was barely anything left to pick up. I felt completely comfortable walking around the room. The mini fridge and counters were fully stocked with a wide variety of snacks and beverages, which was a really nice touch. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful with elegant gold accents that created such a soothing atmosphere. My favorite feature was the rainfall shower—perfect for two, especially if you're visiting as a couple like I did.
On top of that, the receptionist was super welcoming and friendly. We initially had a queen-size bed, but when she saw me come in with my husband, she kindly upgraded us to a king bed with no hassle. That level of service really made our stay even better. Overall, an excellent experience, and I highly recommend it!
Agree with other reviews… a 2-3 star hotel in a boutique hotel wrapper. It’s not awful, just a solid fine. And Marriott status gets you nothing, not even a bottle of water at check in. We did like location however… If you want higher touch or some consideration or your Marriott status, you’ll do better than elsewhere
This was the hotel I chose to celebrate a milestone birthday. I booked a room for two nights and I booked second room for family members. We checked in at 3:15pm and put a Do Not Disturb sign on our door at 4:45pm when we left to go out for dinner. Later that night, I learned that a friend had arranged with the hotel in advance to surprise me with a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board on arrival. They were disappointed no such thing happened.
The hotel did not have the surprise waiting for me on arrival or even shortly after we checked in, as we were there for an hour and a half before heading out. If they didn't want to bother us because of the sign on the door, then they could have left a note on the door for me to see someone at the front desk OR left a message on the room phone. But nothing. When we said how disappointed with the service we were, they didn't offer any solution whatsoever to make it right. This is the opposite of hospitality.
As for the room: the bathroom sink doesn't drain, the walls are scuffed and chipped. My birthday would been more special if this hotel was managed and maintained properly. Would not recommend.
The room in 1525 has a hvac system above that is ridiculously vibrating the whole room 24/7 . I totally feel ripped off my this $500 night stay. I would never recommend this room to anyone. I was offered to downgrade the room to a much smaller room I regret not taking that smaller room but here it at 2am I the noise keeps getting louder and louder. Really disappointed being not equally compensated or why they do not address this situation, as there is no way the don’t know about this.
This a two star hotel trying to pretend to be a 5 star hotel. The service was absolutely terrible - staff was rude (specifically the people in the finance department) and misinformed. We were charged for mini bar items despite not touching the mini bar. We were told we would receive additional promotions from amex which were not honored. The room was tiny. The hallways were dirty and not kept up properly. It took 40 minutes to get the attention of the waiter at breakfast. I would highly reccomend avoiding this hotel - plenty of other options in SoHo.
We loved the location and how modern this hotel was! It missed the mark on feeling like a 5-star experience so if you are looking for the higher level of service you should stay elsewhere BUT if you want a modern and beautiful hotel in the heart of Soho and walkable to all of the awesome restaurants in the surrounding areas then this is a great home base.
The only thing that is five star about this hotel is the location. We're local and were looking forward to a staycation in Soho. This is the worst hotel service we have received. Upon arrival I asked if someone could help with our bags and the front desk's response was "I think you should be fine getting it up on your own." On the second night we asked for toothpaste through their in-room tablet and after waiting for an hour we called the front desk thinking we had just misused the tablet but still never received anything. The server at the 2nd floor restaurant is also incredibly rude and impatient. The water in the shower was lukewarm at best. And the walls truly are paper thin so expect to hear everything going on inside and outside the hotel. And finally, if I'm spending five star prices on a hotel, at the very least there can be free coffee available after 9am on a Saturday. The housekeeping staff was incredibly very kind and again, the location is excellent - otherwise we could not have been more disappointed with this experience at 11 Howard.
I recently stayed at 11 Howard and I can say I will Never stay again. The cleanliness of this place was bad and got worse the longer I was there. I found blood on the sheets and the comforter. I called down to report it and to get them to change them out. They said “oh we will come and investigate it”. A guy came to change it, he didn’t know how to change a bed. I helped him. He apologized and left. There was dirt in the shower they didn’t supply clean glasses they left the dirty ones. I have since called and emailed to get a resolution to this and it has been nothing but crickets. I would not recommend this place if you want a clean place to stay especially for the price.
