We stayed at one of the tent camp sites this past weekend and the weather was perfect, we only had one or two other neighbors that were spaced out quite a bit so we had decent privacy, facilities are kept in decent shape & the pool seems like a great addition if you’re bringing kiddos. We brought our own paddle boards and paddled down to Blue Heart Springs and right across to the big waterfall directly across from the campsites. What a view!
Such a cool indoor hot springs! The ladies up at the check in counter were so sweet! Would recommend buying the private hot tubs, this included the main pools for only $4 more! Will definitely be going back
We just got home from thousand springs we were there for 4 days. We really enjoyed ourselves. The pool was absolutely fantastic the staff were absolutely wonderful they were very helpful, friendly always a smile on there faces. Absolutely loved it and them. We had a great time. The prices are great. There is paddle boats hot pool and caring staff. We went in our RV had our pets who really enjoyed the river. We will definitely go back.
A beautiful location on the Snake River. We went for swimming. Indoors, natural hot springs. Have a diving board, a log one can try and balance on while an uncle tries to roll it.
It was fun.
Probably wouldn't come back, not worth the money. Campgrounds are extremely tight, mosquitoes were EVERYWHERE. When we left to go visit the state park we had accidentally left the tent slightly open, when we came back a couple hours later there was more mosquitoes on the inside than there was tent. We couldn't eat our food and every inch of air was plagued with mosquitoes. The only good thing this place had was the benefit of a river right next to the campground.
I have camped here for years and never seen the pool so disgusting. The water had so many floaties of who knows what that were at least the size of a quarter. It had a ring of dirt around the edge like it hasn't been cleaned in forever. There were piles of dirt on the bottom that I could literally move with my foot. The bathrooms were not taken care of. I love the location, which is why we have camped there for years but the new management doesn't take care of the place as well and it's becoming not worth it to go there anymore.
Some old college friends of mine and their wives got together and spent the weekend at 1000 springs in our RV’s. We had a great time and we all enjoyed the stay there. The staff was a joy to work with. The grounds were in great condition, other than the smoke from the wildfires, great camping conditions. The only complaint we all had was on some of the others people staying there were not keeping their dogs on a leash. One of my friends brought their large dogs with them. They were never off leash at any time. They stayed in camp with us the whole time. One evening, someone let their cow dog off leash and came into our camp and was messing with the dogs. Luckily, his two dogs were pretty laid back. It could have been a bad thing. Not the resort’s fault, but people thinking the rules posted didn’t apply to them. We would highly recommend 1000 Springs Resort. Also, great sunrises!
People just camp wherever. When it is busy, it is a mess. Not sure where one campsite begins and another starts so you can really cut through. Mosquitoes are awful. Nice that it's by the water. Docks are sketchy. Cool that the pool is there.
