We were there for happy hour. Good deals. Margarita and food were good. Was confused by the taco Tuesday offerings - menu listed beans, rice, guacamole that did not come with it. Sign said crispy rellenos came with 2 - I received one small one in an egg roll wrapper. So, not much of a deal for six or seven bucks…
We had a terrible experience here. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took 10 minutes just to be greeted. Things only got worse from there. Our server was unfriendly and inattentive, making the entire visit feel like a chore.
Drink orders were constantly wrong — we ordered a Mexican mule and a Moscow mule but were repeatedly brought mezcal mules instead. After drinking the first wrong drink to avoid being rude, I eventually went to the bartender myself. She was kind enough to remake it properly, but by then we’d already had three incorrect drinks. On top of that, they brought the wrong beer too.
We ended up spending 2.5 hours at the restaurant, which was far too long given the poor service. We came here for a Christmas party a few years ago and had a great experience, so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment, and we won’t be coming back.

100 Agave has truly gone down hill. For $20 this is the kind of quality you get. 100 Agave does heavy price inflation and they skimp on your food. It’s truly disappointing because this used to be my favorite place to eat Mexican food. You can pretty much tell they overcharge on their food and under serve you to stay in business… but honestly it’s time to rip of the bandaid and put them out for good.
Food is mediocre. Prices are high. They also charge for chips and salsa. Beware there is an additional sir charge for credit card payments.
They ding you for every little thing. I ordered enchiladas.. there was little to no sauce on them.
I pointed this out and asked for a little more sauce. They obliged.. then charged additional for it!
There is a lot of good Mexican food in Denver.
My wife and I bought lunch for my daughter and her friend here. We started with the mini-empanadas which were simply fabulous and the high point of the lunch. I had the shredded beef enchiladas and my wife had the beef burrito. My enchiladas were flavorful, juicy, and tasty. My wife found her burrito packed with flavors. The others raved about their entrees. The only downside? My Spicy Agave margarita was not at all spicy and the drink was a bit too sweet for my taste.
A little unknown gem on the corner! We absolutely love going here! We've had the ceviche, street tacos, and so much more! On Tuesdays they offer discounts on street tacos for happy hour! The sangria margarita swirl was SO good!
I recently visited Agave for NFL Sunday and was blown away by their sports bar, it was just an awesome experience, The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The decor was amazing, The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve found in the area, and I can’t wait to come back for UFC or NBA games. Highly recommend!
