Do not let the ratings turn you away! I have been on the fence about trying them out too. And I am so happy I finally came! First of all my braids are beautiful very neat and super full! A thing to know before you come multiple people will be working on your hair however all of my braids are all uniform and you would not know I had 4 people do my hair. I asked for butt length it ended up being thigh length. That's completely fine! All the girls were super nice they mostly talked amongst themselves. Which was fine I was on my phone most of the time. The only thing that caught me by surprise was you do have to pay upfront, which was a bit odd but I can understand to ensure that no one runs out on not paying. The lady's were constantly asking me how I was feeling and if I was liking my hair throughout the service which I really liked. Can't wait to come back !!
Super quick but not neat. When she parted my hair she didn’t even comb through it just started braiding. This photo is 3 days after paying 200 dollars for these braids. Also I asked for my part to be in the middle she got an attitude and handed me the comb to part it myself and I did. After I gave the comb back she part it again herself and my part is definitely NOT in the middle???? only thing good about this place is the price and speed.
I didn't have an appointment this morning when I arrived, but they were very gracious and allowed me to be seated immediately. They opened actually at 9:00. I was expecting 8:00 a.m. However, everything went extremely smooth. Kay, the owner, walked by and spoke to the clients and employees. Very nice disposition. Everyone was very kind and the salon is very clean. My stylist was Ms. Minda and she was great! Very sweet and soft-spoken. I explained that I am extremely "tender-headed" and she attempted to be as gentle as possible. I like the quality of the braids and I was finished within 3 hours and 15 minutes with my (mid-back) Box Boho braids for $200! Thank you and I will certainly return for services.
Upon arrival, my reception was cold, as well as the actual temperature. I had a 45-minute wait before the process began. The young lady, who never shared her name, being very efficient and fast, did a GREAT JOB on my box braids. The price of $190 was economical and included a good quality of braiding hair. I also like the smell of the hair gel she used, which is very important to me. Good location. Clean and professional. Semi-friendly service. They only accept cash or zelle payments without telling me upfront. The ladies seem to work well with each other and their clients. I heard no gossiping or cattiness. Kudos ???????? for the business and its owner. I will recommend them.
I woke up this morning with an urge to get my hair braided and I found $100 braids and that they were walk in based.
Let me tell you. I got there at 7:45, opened the doors at 8 and by 8:20 they started my braids. I had 2 ladies, Addi and Lynda I believe their names were. (If y’all see this and I’m wrong feel free to let me know and I will correct it.) And a third lady help to finish a few braids off for a short time while she chatted. Last braid done at 11:00 on the dot.
All in all a great experience. They provided the hair and I was done in 2 1/2 HOURS!! ???? I asked for waist length but they ended up being butt length. It’s not a big deal, just something I have to get use to. The only minimal gripe is that the side parts are a little bigger than the center part but not dramatically so.
For those complaining about the price I’m not sure understand the cost of braiding. I’m sure at some point their braids were $100 and with the times prices went up. $200-$250 for braids I don’t think is too much, especially when people are out here charging what they’re charging.
I left my own edges out and there AREN’T laid yet lol, this is straight out of the shop. Over all I’m very happy with my hair. ????
I used to come to this salon years ago but stopped coming because I always had a headache when I left. I decided I would try again now that Knowless braids are a thing more so than box braids. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of my stylist, but she did a great job. I requested medium boho knotless waist length ($200) and to me the braids seem smaller than mediums I’ve gotten elsewhere- not complaining!! my hair looks full and feels great!!! I brought my own hair just to be safe. The salon was neat and clean. Hair was finished in exactly 5 hours!
3rd time going but this is the first time this has happened to me. After the braider got situated and comfortable she started my box braids using a rat tail comb to section and comb my hair. I have 4c course hair so when she made the pass through from root to ends using that comb she was RIPPING my hair out. She didn't start off doing this but at some point while she was in the zone she had started to. My hair was left in the teeth of the comb. Of course I said something when I noticed it and the braider apologized and hurried up to remove the hair from the comb but I had already seen it and the floor had at least 4 balled up pieces of my hair. After saying something she did stop ripping my hair but I'm not going to lie I was pissed. It was my fault because I should have been watching how she was doing my hair but I got carried away in my phone/working. I was in the chair by 820a and out before 1245p. I paid 200 for medium knotless. I brought my own hair because I wanted a certain color. Parts are clean and straight. No pulling or excessive weight on the edges. Not sure if I'll go back or not, depending on the damage to my hair. Again this the first time this has happened.
I visited 100 dollar braids this morning. I arrived at 6:35 am I was sitting in the chair once they opened the doors at 7:30am. My experience was great from the beginning. Everyone was so welcoming, Miss Minda was my braider and she was AMAZING! She was so sweet and she works so fast! I was out by 11am. I will definitely be back and I will be asking for Miss Minda.
