Just pure fun! I'm a product of the 70's...so pinball is my Jam. Great environment, awesome service, the games were a blast, good variety, and the price point was fair. I definitely got my money's worth. I wish I would have known about this place earlier during my stay here in July. Weekly Pinball Tournaments...hell to the yes ????a must stop, especially if you're young at heart!
This place is super fun if you are into pinball or video games. They have all of the video game platforms set up. Some with couches, some at the bar. Drinks games and a friendly atmosphere. What more could you want.
Note I did not rate the food as I did not have any.
The food is whatever, the drinks are great and the staff is always friendly. Pinball is fun, and there are a ton of games to choose from, even if it's a $2 game swap.
Such a fun spot! I’ve been a few times now with friends & always have a good time. It never feels too crowded & the machines are always operating well. The nostalgia of the arcade games, duck hunting, etc + the “newer” things like guitar hero are alot of fun. The drinks are good & I always leave glad I came!
Great place and a great introduction to Bellingham. The bartender was AWESOME and gave no shade when asked for a low sugar cocktail (I've had less-than-ideal responses when asking for this at other bars such as "I can't do that since aLl AlCoHoL iS mAdE fRoM sUgAr" #Type1DiabeticLife). She made a custom strawberry vodka pop fizz of sorts and it was DELICIOUS.
They have the newest Venom and Foo Fighters cabinet from Stern. Unfortunately, due to placement, I couldn't try out Venom (a larger patron was sitting in front of the cab while playing the N64 so I don't blame the venue really, just how it goes) and Foo Fighters was sadly offline when I visited.
They have a huge selection of consoles and games.. too many to list! And if video games are less your speed, card haven is right next door! Apparently, before 8pm, you can bring your drinks in and play some tcg.
This place is stellar and my only gripe is I wish I lived closer. I love 1-Up Lounge ❤️????????I could go broke here!!
A friend of mine informed me that this particular lounge recently acquired Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, one of my favorite rhythm games, so I decided to visit the establishment. The bar undoubtedly possesses a gamer theme, as they offer a diverse selection of video games, encompassing both classic and contemporary titles. Additionally, they have a few other arcade gaming machines!
From the Nintendo Entertainment System to the latest Nintendo Switch, they even have the original Xbox all the way up to the Xbox Series X! They also carry the PlayStation 1 up to the PlayStation 5! Whether you desire to play classic games or explore newer releases, this gaming lounge caters to your preferences.
The service provided is pleasant, and the employees exhibit a relaxed demeanor.
Although I have primarily visited the lounge to play Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, it is also a delightful place to simply relax and enjoy oneself.
I wholeheartedly award this establishment a full 5-star rating and would undoubtedly continue to frequent it.
Love this place. I organically found it walking around the city with my partner because it was near a beach, and when we saw it last year, we spend a few hours lost in Nintendo. We came back here last weekend and spent another few hours, missing the sunset we planned on watching.
If you're a gamer at all and like to kick back with a drink this is the spot to stop by. I recommend rolling the D20 shot since there are no wrong choices and if you roll a 20 you get to keep the die.
