Terrible experience more than once. I wanted to give this place business bc I like to really give back to my community. Especially since the owners have kids that go to schools that I've taught. (And taught their son). I am not a nail specialist but I am a skin specialist. I've owned medical spas and day spas and have never experienced con artists like this. I had my last moment of rude, overcharging and disrespect when they ripped off my child and her best friend (11 &12) during a birthday visit and it was acrylic with gel on top. They told me they were doing color, not gel. That was a $55 upsell and didn't even discuss the cost (they will do this to you be aware) us they were doing it and I specially asked for regular polish. This is not the first time with me nor others in this place that I have seen unhappy. They've been rude to my mother on her few visits (overcharged her too- she refuses to go back) I see so many people walk out unpleased and it's my time to speak up. Even saw a woman with her grandchild in tears her pedicure was so bad. And they charged her for it. Didn't correct it! I would never want to see a small business go down but this one has to go. The owners are unethical, the place is not very clean and they don't appreciate your business. I've supported for 3 years. Done. Go somewhere else!
I came in for a wax I like my eyebrows thick I told her basically just a cleaning and she took off more than I wanted then she’s gonna leave hair on my face. I told her can clean it off and she gives me a rough paper towel all aggressive so don’t wax your eyebrows with the lady with glasses I think you’ll see her when you come in. I don’t know if she’s the manager or something, but I’m not cutting my eyebrows with her no more.
Officially over their services. I walked in, signed in for my eyebrows and sat down. No one greeted me or anything. 20 mins went by and a few people that were already there paid and left, still no greeting for my service request. Service has been declining for years. Business was good while it lasted.
It’s a no for me. I use to go here all the time. But after this time . NO. I got a gel polish. Something that usually last me 2 weeks . My nails began to peel the very next day. And the next days after . I’ve had them all of 4 days .
I’ve been coming here since 2009! I have switched to Hah aka Angela as my nail tech! She is with whatever design I show her! She is quick. Good attitudes beget good attitudes. ????
Fast, friendly, fair priced and great quality. This is my first time coming to this nail shop, and I popped in because it was convenient to where I was at the time. I had a cut down and a fill done in under 45 minutes. It's a little out of my way, but I'll be coming back.
Overall clean place. I just got a pedicure. Fair warning they will ask you what package you want but not tell you that its an extra $10, the sign says $35 for pedi, but with the tropical package it was $45. They just do a basic pedi, no leg massage or anything.
My friend got gel nails, she hated the shape if them, very square looking chicklets even after she asked for rounded nails.
Not a horrible place by any means, just be clear with exactly what you want.
I came from CT and needed my nails done. I got my nails, toes and lashes done. One stop shop .. Love it! Service was fast and customer service was great! Thank you Lupa, girl you're amazing!! I'll be back anytime I'm in VA
Update today I saw Lee... Chefs kiss, she is amazing.
