Food at lunchtime is hot and tastes fresh, #21 = 3 wings, 1 fish, 3 shrimp, salad, and rice was a huge portion.
The environment around the restaurant is VERY rough. At noon, beggars are abusive to each other and cussing at you for not giving them change.
Strongly suggest bringing protection in this area. It would be highly recommended.
Some of the best chicken & fried rice I've had since I've been in Houston. I'm very picky especially being from Louisiana but this place reminds me of home. Cheap fast and delicious. Definitely worth the drive.
I went there for the wing and rice combo had to pay an extra $3 for shrimp fried rice which was understandable. They were really quick with making the food which was good. The rice was pretty bland in my opinion not to much flavor I had to add soy sauce and some hot sauce, the wings were crispy I asked for spicy but it pretty much tasted bland as well had to add some hot sauce to it as well the price was decent and the food was alright might go back if there’s no where else to go

I got the 2 piece chicken meal with rice here. I went in, and was out within 5-10 minutes. It was pretty good for its price. The taste was good, but it wasn’t anything fancy, just enough to make you say it’s good chicken and rice. It was quick, very affordable, tasted good, and was filling. I’d definitely stop by if I’m in the area again.

Tried this place for the first time based off of the reviews from co workers, I enjoyed the food. I can tell that the chicken wings are brined based off of the tenderness, it also has a slight kick of cayenne pepper on the back end of the flavor profile. The rice has a nice flavor as well, I’m from Illinois where I am not accustomed to peas and carrots being in fried rice so that would be my only take away, the rice also had bits of chicken in it, a little on the dry side but okay. It comes with a standard roll which I did toss but it appeared to be moist. Total came out to $10.81 for 6 wings and rice. I’ll give it 4 stars.

I used Google to find fried chicken near me & this place did not disappoint! The service was quick & friendly. The food was fresh & delicious. The only thing that will keep me from being a regular is the cash only option. I am a points & miles girl so I don't believe in spending cash. ???? It was by the grace of God I had a ten dollar bill in my purse to try this place today.
