It's one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The service was very good. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. Other staff members are nice and polite too. We ordered ground chicken pot地鍋雞 and sweet and sour pork鍋包肉(can't really remember the name). The dishes were amazing, especially the sweet and sour pork. I love it so much. The pork was crispy, and the sauce was not too sweet, not too sour. It was perfect. The dishes were big. We couldn't finish the chicken. We took away the rest of the chicken.
I highly recommend it, and thanks for hospitality.
Recommended by Chinese friend, this restaurant seems to be quite popular as many Chinese customers came from different cities to try.
We tried Special ground pot chicken.
The soup might be a little salty but very flavourful.
The pot comes with potato and on top with chewy thick noodle but I order rice to lighten the soup. The chicken comes with bone so need to eat gently.
The pork belly comes with broccoli. This dish offer the sweetness and juicy pork which compliment another dish.
The staff are supportive and friendly
However, The restaurant is pretty small so it might be crowded and need to squeeze yourself in the seat.

We drove from Glasgow to Edinburgh today for travel. And friends recommend this place to me. We ordered Chicken and cabbage and the food is amazing!!! Luckily the time we arrived is not so busy (around 12.30pm)and easily find a seat. There was a lovely lady sit next to us to share the table and we had really enjoyable conversation during the lunch. Felt like back to hometown.
The food is authentic and delicious, and when you return to China in a second, you put food in your mouth. But the place itself is very narrow and small. You have to stand and let the people clean the table or seat. The service is excellent, especially for the middle-aged lady. I do think it would be popular without her indeed heart service in this small place. I have never seen a restaurant like this small. Book in advance is highly recommended. Takeout may be a better idea instead of dining in.
Tried their famous xu zhou hot pot and the fried spicy chilli chicken, one more thing is the sweet and sour pork, all was delicious, if you like sechuan pepper taste, you will definitely love this place. Don’t forget to try their fried rice! it’s the perfect texture for fried rice????????
the only thing is make sure you make booking because the place is small, probably has only 5 tables of 4 / 5 people.
Very popular and small place, so can take a bit of time to get a table. Pretty cramped, but definitely work it as ground pot chicken was great.
Went on recommendation from a friend and loved it. The food was fresh, very authentic, and delicious. We loved the decor and aesthetic, it is very original. And the service was the best - super sweet lady and very helpful. We felt like we were eating in China, not Edinburgh. Highly recommend. The venue is quite small, but when we went, there was not too many customers, so we had no seating issues.
Very good typical Chinese pot. Especially the chicken pot, very tasty! The owner is very nice. The staff are friendly! Highly recommended! Will come back again!
