Staff were friendly, room was very clean!
This resort does everything right! We appreciated the adult only swimming pool in addition to the family pool. Both pools are large, heated and the pool decks have plenty of lounge chairs. The pool bar had super friendly staff and the restaurant had excellent food!
The landscaping was well maintained and nicely done. The resort has three top notch restaurants (we only tried one) and free bike and kayak rentals for guests. Other amenities are available and numerous to enjoy!
The gulf beach is beautiful, not crowded, and great for long walks with breathtaking sunsets.
We stayed during Thanksgiving week and on the Friday evening after Thanksgiving the resort had their annual Christmas tree lighting party. Everyone needs to experience this party!! The Christmas lights are amazing! The festivities were well throughout and the fireworks climax rivaled what a small city would put on! Whether you are drinking with friends or enjoying with your family the Christmas lights and the live music are excellent and an unforgettable experience!
We’ve been going to Tween Waters for 20-plus years. It is sad to see what was once a wonderful place start to slip.|Despite the hurricanes in recent years, Tween remains vibrant. There are always a lot of people around, it’s busy and there is a lot of hustle and bustle. In a good way! They have managed to thrive and for that we are glad.|The prices have increased significantly, but quality has gone downhill. The pool view rooms (above the coffee shop) are in dire need of a makeover. Frankly I can’t believe they even rent them. The past few visits have been just plain bad in those rooms. They are old, dirty, mold in the bathrooms, low water pressure, no elevator. You just never feel clean or relaxed, they are poorly maintained. Our shower had zero, and I mean zero water pressure. |The main pool area is fine. We were there over thanksgiving week, and we noticed they don’t have the waiters taking food and drink orders like they used to. I think I saw a waiter hit the serenity pool, but no one came to the main pool. |The restaurants are good, we ate at the steakhouse one night and it was delicious. We got pizza twice and enjoyed it. We sat at the bar in the Shipyard a few times. The drinks were inconsistent (depended on who made them) and they never had enough people working. They ran out of the wine I liked. |The Christmas party was a blast. It was a haven for kids and adults alike. |We missed the buy one/get one free coupons they used to offer. Was shocked that my daily latte was over $6. |We have had many fun vacations at Tween and I wish them well. I think things will improve in time. We will be taking a break and try some other resorts in the area. Tween has so much to offer, beautiful beach, lovely restaurants etc. but the quality has gone downhill and prices have really gone up. If staying there, I would ask to be put in a recently renovated building, and I would hope they’d update the pool view building very soon.
Kudos to the ENTIRE resort & staff. We had the wedding weekend of our dreams and are truly so sad it’s over. From the moment we checked in on Wednesday, to all of our meals, to all of the amenities, to the catering on Lady Chadwick, to the actual wedding… not one detail was missed and every single employee was so pleasant and enjoyable. The resort, despite being hit by two major hurricanes this year, is beautiful and the progress made in a month is exceptional. All of the amenities were usable for our guests and they enjoyed every minute of their stay!!! It truly was the best week and we have nothing negative to say about anything or anyone. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful, the resort restrooms were always clean and smelled like cleaning products, the food was exceptional, and the drinks were delightful! It was a 200/10 star experience and we can’t wait to return each year for our anniversary and bring our family back. I think that is what I love the most about ‘Tween Waters is it truly is a family-friendly resort built on great hospitality and traditions.
My wife, dog, and I stayed at Tween Waters for our mini honeymoon. We had a great time. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect with the beach within a 2 min walk. We stayed in the cottage overlooking the bay and it was very nice. The pictures of the cottage online are not as up to date as what it's like in real life. We ate at the Crow's Nest one night. For how much it cost the food wasn't good, but the food/ service at The Shipyard is much better! Overall, we had a blast and highly recommend staying here!
Stayed at this resort for a long weekend for a family wedding. Room was clean, nice pool and beach access. Restaurants offer good food with a variety of options. We stayed there a week after hurricane milton and the staff was very busy doing all they could to get the resort up and running
We had 3 couples, and 2 of them were on the third floor and we were on the second. The rooms on the third floor were nice, but I did not care for ours on the second floor, we must of had which would be a conjoined room when needed and we could here everything our neighbor was doing, and I didn't care for the room compared to the other couples on the third floor. Going here is a staple for my wife and her family, which they love. Otherwise the staff was great.
We planned our son's wedding from out of state and Debra Campana was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped us coordinate so many details long distance and we couldn't have asked for a better result! The staff was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the resort was beautiful and very charming. We stayed in the 3BR (Tarpon) cottage and we loved it! Couldn't have asked for a more perfect trip. Thank you!
This was my first time docking and staying at Tween Waters Resort, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived by boat, the experience was seamless. Ferrari, who assisted with fueling and docking, was incredibly friendly and helpful, leaving a great first impression. Another staff member made offloading luggage effortless with their warm and accommodating attitude.
Throughout our stay, we encountered several standout employees. Joseph and Raul went above and beyond, assisting us with transportation and visitor parking, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free.
The resort’s dining options were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the Oasis Pool Bar, where the burgers, pizzas, and perfectly crafted Mai Tais were delightful. For our evening dinners, the Old Captiva House provided a memorable experience. Our waiter, Robert, was an absolute joy and delivered 5-star service, making our meals extra special.
Between the ease of docking our boat, the exceptional staff, and the fantastic dining options, this resort truly stands out. A big thank you to the management for rebuilding so beautifully after Helene and Milton and for assembling such a wonderful team.
I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
