Best WLM Reviews
We were so lucky to sit by the canal and have the most special meal ever! Our view was the best one in the entirety of Bruges. The croquettes and mussels were absolutely delicious. Lovely experience!
We had a three course meal for €27. As starter a cheese croquette, main dish sole fish and dessert a dame Blanche.
The food was fine for the price. You get one croquettes and two sole fish.
Friendly staff that helps in finding a solution someone didn't want a dame Blanche so they could have a coffee or thee instead.
Would go here again.
Wish it was a bit better, the atmosphere was lovely in an old building perfectly situated with canal views through the window. We order onion soup and while it tasted lovely, broth like a consumme and great quality toast and soft cheese, but it took 45min to arrive. The mussels were good quality but the broth really ruined them for us. The provincial only tasted or dried oregano and the white wine and garlic tasted like water with chicken bouillon powder on top. There was no garlic or white wine I could taste so I bit disappointing, especially with such fresh quality muscles.
Cozy and beautiful restaurant near the Canal of Bruges, very nice and helpful staff. The house wine was excellent, so was the menu. The croquette de crevettes was very good. The solettes and the carbonnade flamande was excellent. Good choice of desserts too. We felt very welcomed. A restaurant with a view ????❤️
Good food, nice waiters and excellent view on one of the canals. Old house with nice ambiance.
Great Belgian climate, delicious dishes, friendly and professional service. An unforgettable culinary experience. I recommend it to anyone who wants to feel the taste of Belgium in a unique place
They have 3 2-person tables by the canal, so snag one of these if you can.
Food was pretty good for a tourist restaurant. I had vol-au-vent, which was pretty good, but my travel partner had a shrimp pasta dish with Asian-style flavoring which was too salty. So, stick with the local delicacies, I guess. As far as I could tell they only had bottled beer.
Pic is the view across the canal.
The only gripe I have is that the food took a long time to come. DELICIOUS when it did come. Beer and service was impeccable, highly recommend the chicken stew.
