Stopped at Diner for supper and wasn't disappointed! Dumplings, Potato Bowl and Hot Pork Sandwich were AWESOME!!! I even had to bring some home! Great portions! Service was outstanding! And LOVE the convenience of paying at my table via Google Pay!
Food was good. Waitress was nice. Here's the problem. We were in on 2/29/2024. We were waited on promptly, received our food and everything tasted good. All was right with the world. A person in our party left a very nice tip and we were on our way. I was looking through my bank app a few days later and noticed an extra charge. The waitress had given herself an additional tip. I called to talk with the manager, but she wasn't in. I explained to the gal who answered what had happened. She was actually the gal who waited on us that day. She said that "accidentally" happens once in a while and she was very sorry. I was told the manager would call me and make it right. I have not received a call and no one there is answering the phone today. Just a heads up....if you are using a card, watch your charges. It's not so much about the money, but it's a pretty good side hustle if every few customers are "accidentally" getting added charges. Do better.
Would give 0 stars if I could. We were parked at the truck stop for the weekend. Walked down to eat twice and both time the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with the words we are closed. The first time was Saturday evening at 7pm then we walked back down on Sunday and at 1pm was told they were closed. Really hard to get people to come in if you never know when they are open or closed. Wouldn’t waste my time with a place whose employees are too lazy to keep normal hours of business. Very disappointed.
Had breakfast here. American fries were burnt on the outside and crunchy inside. The gravy was great but a small portion. Wait staff was to busy talking to each other leaning against the counter to check on us. Companion didn't get refill on coffee I didn't get refill on my small cup of water. Waited 15 minutes after stacking our dishes on the edge of the table before we got.up to get our ticket then felt like we were an inconvenience interrupting their gossip sesson.
We are here on vacation. We walked in to the diner and the two waitresses didn't say a word. Didn't greet us ... nothing. We had to ask if we could sit anywhere. Very inattentive waitresses, however the food was great.
The food was juicy and very well cooked! My daughter and I'm waitress was very welcoming and very attentive to us. Will definitely be going back!
The price does not matter, it may cost more but go away pleased, my friend and I ordered two breakfasts. I ordered french toast with scrambled egg, sausage. as was the sausage. The scrambled egg was not well cooked. The hot juice, the weak coffee did not taste like black coffee ☕️ and the syrup on the toast was mixed with water to render it. My friend ordered a fried egg ???? with bacon ???? with pancakes ???? and it was horrible. Then they give us hot sauce, I don't know what for. They see us as Latinos and they think we're Mexicans and yes we are Latinos but our physique is very different from Mexicans, with a lot of respect. But they don't eat breakfast with spicy ???? sauce. I don't know where they see that. Anyway, I don't recommend it. They should improve since they have a hotel and next door they have another hotel. I know how to cook and I also cook many dishes, I know what I'm talking about. They should put a mailbox ???? of references so that they can improve their service.
The staff is rude. The staff/manager and husband Cornered my daughter in the stairway. Griping at her over her kids. She asked for a downstairs room because she has kids and they gave her upstairs. So after being in the car 10 hours I'm sure they were a little loud running across the floor. I wish I'd have been there. My daughter is a small person and it took two of you to corner her in the stairway. I bet you feel big now. I'm a small person too but I'm sure it would have been a different outcome if I had been me you tried to corner. People like this have no right to be working with the public.
