The oysters are very fresh big and tasty, with special offer £1.5/each this month. We ordered some BBQ like lamb ribs (quite big as well) , lamb skewers, kidney skewers, which are all very tasty and tender. Beef rice noodles in the pot is very well cooked with rich beef flavour????. Beef short ribs are slightly sweet, well cooked and very tender. There are some Sichuan dishes as well. I definitely will go back and try more different food????
Yesterday evening, I went to this restaurant and ordered quite a few dishes. The grilled oysters and scallops there were very tasty. The charcoal-grilled flavour was so nice, had this freshly sweet touch to it, and those scallops with garlic vermicelli were quite delicious. And I also tried their spicy grilled pork belly—it was so rich and juicy, and the crunch of the cabbage with it was just perfect. Not too oily, but so tasty. The grilled veggies, especially the slightly charred chives, smelled amazing, but some of those green peppers were super spicy! The coriander-dried tofu rolls and lamb skewers were fantastic. Even though the spicy chicken feet weren't crazy hot, they were really tender and full of flavour. And I like the Hunan-style noodles—they were smooth and downright delicious. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Since relocating to North London, I've become a regular at this fantastic eatery, enjoying their takeout and dine-in options more than 10 times. What truly sets this place apart is its authentic charcoal grilling. The food here isn't greasy at all but instead is infused with a delightful smoky flavor, offering a refreshingly different experience compared to electric grilling or deep frying. A must-try for anyone in the area!
Proper authentic Chinese cuisine, restaurant looks a little small, so you're either gonna have to wait a while or share a table when it's busy, but food is tasty.
Highly recommend eating there skewers especially the lamb, enoki with pork, chicken gizzards, and large intestines (yes large intestines!).
We also added extras like grilled aubergine with garlic and Small Pot Rice Noodle Soup with Beef Broth (not enough broth? You can add more), but really good high recommend.
I live in the area and been meaning to try this place for years and finally got round to it - it did not disappoint!
The food is really authentic, fragrant and tasty. Naturally most of the dishes as spicy but not in the usual way you’d expect, it’s more of a “numbing” hot (ma lat means numbing spice :) ).
Service was good, they’re quite busy with deliveries however the staff are lovely.
Atmosphere is slightly kitschy but I like it, pretty cutlery and there’s the hotpot/central grill option too if you’re having that.
Food was pretty good. I prefer the lamb skewers and spicy pork belly slices. Service was excellent and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! Would like to come back!
Wandered in here yesterday when looking for somewhere and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The beef and peanut noodles were brilliant. I’m no expert on Chinese food but it seemed authentic and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back
Living nearby, this Chinese spot is my Deliveroo addiction. The Spicy Chicken Feet might sound weird, but it's my guilty pleasure – seriously delicious and totally authentic. If you're a spice lover craving Sichuan goodness, this place nails it. Don’t miss out on the barbecue items; they’re all fantastic! The service was amazing, and the owner threw in a special treat for the 4th anniversary. So sweet! ????????
