Best WLM Reviews
A group of us ordered a couple of dishes to share and every dish we ordered was delicious and savory. The quality of the ingredients were good, and it took some time, but not too long, and turned out great. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the service was great. Would recommend ????
We came here for my sister's birthday dinner. We were able to be seated immediately and ordered a couple of appetizers. I do not remember our server's name but she was very nice and helpful in giving us suggestions. We got the pan fried dumplings and the handmade wonton in chili oil. The pan fried dumplings were a little disappointing as I could tell that they were mass-manufactured and/or frozen. The handmade wonton in chili oil was delicious and spicy, though! I ordered the pork lo mein as my meal, and my sister got the sesame chicken dinner entree which comes with a side of rice and an egg roll. I got to try some of her meal. The egg roll was a little bland, I assume that they do not use pork because it was not like an egg roll I was used to. The sesame chicken was crispy and had a good amount of sauce on it. The rice was cooked perfectly. The lo mein was absolutely delicious! Very savory and had some hints of sweetness as well. The pork was velveted and tasted great. The service here was very good! Our server was very attentive and also was super sweet! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
Food is great, not sure authentic as I am not from China.
Service was good too. We were seated pretty quick. The waiter was quite friendly. The ambiance is great. My wife (a vegetarian) liked the tofu dish. My fish sizzler was pretty good as well.
But if you are by yourself or a family of 2, then you have very limited choice of starter soup or appetizer. Especially if you have a vegetarian, no good choice of starter soup or appetizer at all. I did advise the waiter to consider that in future. If you are with a family of 3+, no problem.
I was going to give 4 star, but decided to stick to 3 because of the reason above.
Will visit when I have my family with 4+ people to join.
I visited with my family of 3 and we really enjoyed the food and service. We shared a soup and 2 dishes among 3 of us which worked out great. Changed to 4 star.
The experience was good. I went there for a weekday lunch and there was barely no people dining in.
The chicken and fish tasted good. I asked for extra spicy, but it is still just medium level for me. The portion was good for price of $20.
The vegetable (family style tofu) was okay. I was not very impressive with the flavor, and apparently it used too much corn starch.
The server was friendly and helpful. Would be a choice for work lunch - they did offer lunch special as well.
This place is way across town for us but we sure are glad that we made the trek to visit. They had a big party seated right before us so the food was relatively slow to come out. However, they were very apologetic about the situation. The food all tasted very good! Everything was seasoned perfectly, not too salty nor under seasoned. Food was priced fairly. Would recommend checking it out, atleast once.
We were here on a Saturday evening. It wasn’t busy. Restaurant had an artificial cherry blossom tree in the middle. Food was great, bubble tea and fruit tea was good. Hubby loved his lychee tea so much, he ordered it twice. Ambience was quiet. I would definitely come back. Two things prevented me from giving 5 stars - no fortune cookie, I mean what’s Chinese food without the cookie, lol. Some of the menu items weren’t descriptive enough for a non-chinese person. Other than that, great food.
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in charlotte.. first, it's like you flew to China it's that good. Next, look at how many Asian customers are eating there and they know good Chinese food . The portions are huge. You will have plenty of leftovers, we ate leftovers for 3 days and enjoy every day of it . Tyler did an outstanding job and had perfect timing with our appetizers soup and meal . Our daughter live in China for 10 years and told us about the food there said
it is authentic as you can get . We will be back many more times in the future.
First time dine in with family, and everything was great! Food was delicious, authentic compared to other restaurants we've been to where they cater more towards American taste. There is a lot to the menu, and I definitely appreciate the variety of vegetarian dishes available. The prices were very good, for the quality of the dishes.
The service was very good. They're friendly and polite and occasionally check up on you.
The restaurant was nice, a down to earth atmosphere. We went during a slow time, so it was calm and quiet. It was also neat and clean.
Overall, we had a good experience and will come again.
