First off Alabama Ave looks like Columbia, MD just beautiful!!! Anyway can we get into the Black Man Magic ✨❤️ that is at this location!!! With an all black male staff they did not disappoint!! Upon entry I was greeted. The atmosphere was clean and a whole Vibe!! The on duty lead was knowledgeable about what to order, how to order and what they had on hand and didn't. He told me the rules of ordering and how they are required to not fill up on the pizza. I was so impressed. The guys were well groomed, hands were clean, the customer service was on point and My pizza ???? was amazing ????????!!

Ordered a meat lovers (Maverick) with extra cheese. Not so much extra cheese, not so much meat to love. Looked nothing like the photo on the wall. See my pic. Fresh, but inattentive food prep from an employee very vocally asking me to give him cash for tip or cash app instead of tipping him at the register (strange). I’m sure it’s a great restaurant, but I was not impressed with this individual experience.
I love &pizza and was excited to see one closer to me so of course I went and was really surprised by all the changes and new investments in the community. I did a mobile order hoping my pizza would be waiting for me since is was about 15 minutes away. I get there and again surprised by how nice the area is and how nice the new &pizza is. There was one person in there who had a mobile order also and was sitting and waiting ????which was a bad sign ????because it didn’t seem like much was going on in the back. Ok so I was promptly greeted then told it be about 15 minutes for my mobile order and again no one was in there but one other person who was sitting ???? waiting ????…here we go. So I took a seat and shortly after people started coming in and placing orders getting their ???? and leaving ????. Meanwhile me and the other lady are still waiting ????. They made 3 walk-in orders ????before calling the lady who was in there before me and maybe about 5 minutes later called me. So I won’t be doing anymore mobile orders at this location if I even go back. I have eaten at almost every &pizza in the area and even from the truck and 95% of the time I do a mobile order and never experienced this. No complaints about my pizza ???? ????so again if I go back to this location I will definitely do a walk-in order ????.
The last time I went there the toppings area was messy; not clean. I asked bread knots and marinara sauce. And the marinara sauce was refrigerator cold. I asked them to warm it up and they said they didn't do that. Never again.
This was my second time ever having this pizza I first had it when I was in rehab from having knee surgery a couple years ago and it was good I haven’t had any since then so when this spot opened I said I was going to try it again so I finally got some yesterday one of the reasons was I had a birthday discount and just like the first time this pizza was awesome and this is coming from someone who once worked at Papa John’s the workers were really cool and helpful and I’m definitely going to order from there again I also got a chocolate chip cookie ???? and a fruity crispy treat and a chocolate one the portion size is a good amount I didn’t take a picture of the dessert items I got but here’s the pizza it was the CBR and it was amazing I’m going to try a couple different ones I’m looking forward to trying the one with the mushrooms and truffle oil
I recently moved to the area, and when I heard there was an &pizza near by I was super excited! This store is one of the best I’ve been to! The food was well made and service was super fast and excellent! I’ll definitely be returning!
The young workers were very welcoming, they were friendly , respectful which was a nice gesture toward my being an older lady, the pizza was delicious, it was my first visit, and they, by the way I've been missing out made me feel special ,and they put on the Ritz..... They were very cordial, and I fully appreciated that from this group of young men.....I will definitely visit again as soon as possible. For the service and the delicious Pizza at a reasonable price, piping hot..,Thank you!!!
This location is the worst I've ever been to. I love &pizza since the day I discovered it and make it a regular stop when I come to DC. However this location is an exception. The service is painfully slow whether there is a line or not. It doesn't matter how many people are behind the counter allegedly working. It's always the same super slow service. Most of the time when I go in there
I will see one or two people in line and neither have placed an order yet and no one is checking out. So there really is no reason for the staff to be so slow. The few times my patience allowed me to wait for pizza it came out dry. I've been to multiple locations and have never had to wait more than 15 minutes.
