Nice little pizza spot. Got 2 pizzas and drinks - very tasty. Nice seating upstairs and looks like there may be a bar but was closed at the time.
The service was extremely slow. With 3 people (all 1 order) in front of me I spent about 30 minutes inside of the store.
The store could also label all toppings on glass or post them on a single board.
They also turned away customers 10 minutes before closing. The guy in front of me gave up after waiting 20+ minutes.
I've been a delivery driver in Washington, DC for about 5 years. I've been to all the branches of &pizza. The staff at every branch is always rude and inattentive. They never take care of the drivers. Most of their products are out of stock. Or another driver might have stolen the order. They send you there for nothing. They don't pay attention to drivers. They only listen to you after all the customers are served. They waste your time and act rudely. When you ask something, they snap at you and scold you. They act as if you're delivering an order from somewhere else, not their customer's order. I have never seen a polite staff member at any of their branches to this day. I just picked up an order for a customer. Half of the order was out of stock. No explanation. If I take it to the customer, the customer gets upset and complains about me. But they don't care. They don't check the order when it comes in. They don't check if they have the order or not. Most of the items are out of stock. They put incomplete orders.
Although the flavor was good and they have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options, the pizza was staggeringly soggy and lacking in structure.
The atmosphere while I was waiting was loud and uncomfortable.
It took them 25 minutes to complete my order, despite saying 10 minutes online and in the order confirmation.
Finally, I ordered online for pickup, and they sent me FIVE unsolicited emails in a two hour period.
Rikkia served up a ton of delicious pizza for our tour group of 38 teens and 10 adults and we totally demolished it! The sodas are so unique, like local small batch brews in soda (pear fig flavor) are amazing... Plus she’s so friendly and welcoming that it made us love her! This location is clean and well run and has lots of love from people who love what they do! And her staff is amazing... made a Texas girl like me proud????
Very disappointed in the pizza produced from this store. Since the pizza itself isn't that big, it would be nice to know that you're getting sauce and toppings on the entire pizza. Our pizzas were haphazardly prepared. I ordered online and when I went into the store (a few minutes early from my time I projected I'd be there, it was empty and by pizzas were already done) it was obvious they were not dealing with a rush of sorts. I will try &pizza again, but definitely not this location which is bummer because it's super convenient for me after work. They are gluten-free, vegetarian, AND vegan friendly.
&pizza never disappoints and I must get it every time I go to DC. This time around I ordered the American honey and my husband did a made to order. The crust is delicious, so crispy, like a delectable, buttery cracker. The toppings are neither piled on our skimped. Just a nice ratio. With mine, the honey on top was not overwhelming, just a nice finishing touch. There were also bites that I'm sure you can only get in heaven. Kind of burnt but still sweet. The seating is plenty (probably not during a lunch rush), but most anytime you can likely find a seat. The staff is very friendly and though it's not a grab and go kind of spot, you can still have a quick lunch.
This place is awesome!!! My first time and deff enjoyed it. They have pizzas for everyone here! Imagine Chipotle but for pizza and this place stays open until 4am!!!!they also have a bar upstairs lol it's the bees knees. The pizzas we got were the Hogg Boss, Farmers Daughter, and a custom pizza which you have many different options to customize with. They have really good sodas not made with High Fructose which is great and even desert pizzas!!! The seating is moderate it shouldn't be a ton of tables anyway since its not a stay for a hour kind of place but there are more than enough seats though. I would deff reccomend &Pizza just for the quick pizza and it's good and gosh they have a freaking bar and gender neutral bathrooms as well!!!
