We stayed ine night after visiting Westonbirt Arboretum. Very comfortable rooms. Superb meal in the restaurant in the evening & superb breakfast!
One of the best Italian kitchen around Bristol !!! I'm very impressed with food quality, taste, size- prices as well not bad specially when you can try so good food. Garlic bread is totally different to what we have in Bristol, soups are awesome. Pasta dishes are very good plus good choice of vegetarian options. Very welcome staff. Good choice of wine. Nice and warm. Free car park on the back.
Overall the food was OK. A mix of home made and freezer pub food which won't break the bank, but hardly a memorable experience. We were just passing through. This place and the food looks nothing like the photos. I should have taken some photos but I didn't because it was just so ordinary, there wasn't any point. Decent portion sizes so a 2.5/5 from me.
Italian food served with passion and excellent quality and very reasonable prices,including organic wines which are exceptional and well priced. Can recommend several of the dishes including the pizzas, fish and pasta. Generous portions last night we could not finish main course after a started of white-bate (big plate split between two of us)
The most impressive feature is the enthusiasm and welcome from the owners.
Excellent customer service, amazing food. 2 for 1 offers are valid for single eaters as long as you order the next meal straight after eating. Perfect as it allows time to compose for your second helping. (I got a burger, chips, 2 lots of salad and a Pasta all for £10) and it was all cooked to perfection.
Would highly recommend for those coming from near OR far.
Drinks are cheap for a bar of this standard. I didn't get the name of the waitress but she was serving table 41 at 6.30 ish on 12th february. (Looked about 17/18) I found her very nice and really helpful. Thank you very much Fox Inn.

The Pub, Restaurant and Accommodation has been refurbished and has new management, who are very cordial.
A selection of High Quality Italian dishes is available in the Restaurant.
Comically rubbish service
35 minute wait to get served, was blamed for being a customer. To take an order for 3 drinks and meals took 10 minutes a go. Shame as food was fine. Would not go back
